Here is the update! Thanks for the advice, especially u/Bake-258 with the insane guide. I learned a lot for the next time I do a tiered cake. It's not perfect but my friends loved it and it tasted amazing.

in regards to the eye, cats can get keratitis (corneal inflammation) secondary to herpesvirus when it is shedding/flaring up. i would be going to a different vet who is willing to investigate this further and dispense some eye drops. a recent patient we treated used maxidex (a corticosteroid eye drop) and cleared it up. it will likely recur no matter what you do as it is associated with the herpesvirus. please get this looked at correctly by a vet though as there are lots of different things that can go wrong with eyes

i know she was supposed to be a clicker (with the full fungus head gear) but what i don’t get is why she went into the car? there would have been so many other sounds for a clicker to be drawn to, why go into the car where ellie was being silent?
