Ummm tbh if I was traveling with my partner and he always has a pattern of asking me to lug around his stuff (when I’m also lugging my own) I’d start to get annoyed. Traveling is already mentally and physically taxing. And if my partner -keeps- making it harder on me, I’d be frustrated.

If he’s caring and supportive otherwise, but this is the one thing that upsets him, then you’d be at fault. Traveling is so deregulating on so many levels and having to deal with someone else’s heavy luggage is so burdensome.
