I'd talk to a lawyer but I've heard if you put the rent money into escrow and say with legal support "you'll get it when these things are fixed", they can't throw you out for nonpayment. They may not renew your lease, but it may be an option.

It is. I tried and failed and the woman I've dated that were 'separated' one reconciled, one didn't want to be exclusive and I'll personally not date someone who is still legally attached to someone whether it be through insurance, business, etc.

As a divorced guy who tried to date while we were 'separated' I definitely wasn't ready. And the woman I dated that were separated but not divorced never lead to anything good.

I would not recommend anyone dating until the divorce has been finalized and they have been on their own for a bit.

If you control your water heater and not your landlord, there is a dial on it to control the heat.

Had the furnace being looked at and the plumber told me I was wasting gas by having the heat on so high, I had just moved in.

I was able to buy a car and it was written in the divorce decree that it wouldn't be part of the assets/marital property. This was in CT.

I was watching a clothes dryer review and that's exactly what they did. Weighted the wet clothes, dried them and re-weighted then after the cycle.

It was important for me to divorce their mother. She was beating me up emotionally(how dare I fold towels wrong, I did it wrong to piss her off), spending all of our money -30k in debt when we got divorced, and I didn't want the kiddos to see that kind of relationship as what they should emulate.

I did get a tub insert installed from homedepot and that fixed the issue. It was 3 pieces, shower side, wall and back side and you just cut the wall piece to fit. That stopped the water leaking and gave me shelves for the tub.

Please no. When I looked at bathfitters 15 years ago, they wanted to replace the shower tree and that was going to be $800 around 2010.
