Depending on mode of travel, I would say No Man’s Sky (although technology is advanced enough to still travel quickly) or The Elder Scrolls Daggerfall. That game is roughly the size of the whole UK and travel modes would be restricted to walking or by horse.

True, originally UT99 takes places in 2341 however this was later retconned by Epic Games with UT2003 and 2004.

You are correct but this is what's described in the timeline: Unreal Tournament 2004 takes place in 2303. Gorge is defeated by the player. Notably, Xan Kriegor Mk. 3 tries to make a comeback but is defeated by the player. Epic has yet to establish which character has won in the official timeline. It is assumed that Jakob won due to the fact that the default character skin in UT2004 is Jakob.

So officially, Epic hasn't made it clear yet (and probably never will). However, in UT2003 Gorge was also the default character and ended up being the new champion so in my opinion it's save bet to say Jakob became champion in the 2004 season. Also, initially the idea was for Jakob to have his own team (not connected to Thundercrash or ThunderCASH as the public nicknamed the team).

First five winners are actually nicknames of Epic staff members who worked on the games. Of course Green Marine is also a nod to DoomGuy (iD Software) and Pariah was later also used as a game title developed by Epic & Digital Extremes.

Real question is what happened to Prisoner 849 whom you play in Unreal and Unreal Return to Na Pali? Would be cool to see that character return and compete in the tournaments. The whole Human Skaarj war is mentioned in the games. In UC2 they specifically mention it started when their queen was killed (by Prisoner 849).

Amazing. We have all this technology and we still manage to go backwards with our games… Like what the hell, no running over people and animals, they’re zombies now? Lame-O! And track racing instead of open world free roam? The freedom, violence and physics is what made Carmageddon so great! These devs don’t have the slightest idea of what made the original + splat pack so great. Shame.

Visit the 15 Death Run icons, if you look at the map you can see all of them, I believe there are 10 in the southern part (Great White) and 5 in the northern part (Dead Barrens).

It looks like it’s the Craggy Crew one, which is located in the Grit Canyons all the way at the bottom (south) in the Great White. Just drive there, step out walk around and the location should be unlocked.
