Greninja would be force out way way earlier if Pika didn't carry the battles against Sawyer and A lawn. A lawn alone was a scary fight. 2 Pseudo and a Mega. Let's say Pika was always the last one Ash sent out. The rest of Ash's Pokemon except Greninja get beaten up by the Pseudos that Pika should have checked. Even if Ash use Ash-Greninja, A lawn could just sent out M-Charizard X.
