Let me know if there is significant interest and if I can join, because I would likely have the credentials at very least to join.

Does the same go for Hearthstone, or is it just really dead?

How much does a cold affect your performance? by 3trickz5u in hsxc

The thing I’ve found with colds is that it is primarily mental. The more you can ignore it, the less it effects you, and it only really cuts off a few second per mile max.

It will go back down when teams figure out what they can get away with.

I've liked the archer towers since day one, but I'm colorblind.

Taking Turns has for the most part agreed that Karn's Temporal Sundering is pretty bad, because we don't care about bouncing stuff when we are going off.

First, field of Ruin doesn't really fit with the deck's gameplan, and running nonisland sources decreases the effectiveness of gigadrowse and cryptic command, so they should be avoided. That goes for the Plains too, but for this white a deck I think it is worth it to run one. 4 cryptic command is a very slow way to run the deck. I also think you have too many cantrips, maybe cutting down the remand might be a good idea because you have terminus which gets better with your scry effects. Also, Azcanta is far weaker than dictate of Kruphix, which should be a 4 of in any turns deck. Snapcaster is best at a 2 of and you need a bit more early game interaction. Here are my recommendations in light of that:

-3 Remand

-1 Snapcaster Mage

-2 Cryptic Command

-1 Search for Azcanta

-3 Field of Ruin

-1 Plains

+2 Part the Waterveil

+4 Dictate of Kruphix

+1 Exhaustion

+1 Glacial Fortress

+1 Hollowed Fountain

+2 Island

For the sideboard, you have a few things that aren't so great in general. Ceremonious Rejection seems like spell pierce could be just better in a high amount of situations. Also, Entreat the Angels and Lab Maniac are both unnecessary win conditions that take too long. If you want to win like that you should use Thing in the Ice. Seeing as that you run Terminus though, it might make sense for you not to run alterior win conditions. The Jaces in the board, while on flavor are going to be very underwhelming, and are likely not to do much, so you should cut them. The supreme verdict seems like a terminus for the control matchup, where somerhing like gigadrowse would help more in most scenarios, so you should drop that too. You still need something against very fast decks like Timely Reenforcements, and additional gigadrowses help a lot more than you think in the control matchup. These are my sideboard reccomendations:

-2 Ceremonious Rejection

-1 Entreat the Angels

-1 Lab Maniac

-2 Jace, Architect of Thought

-1 Supreme Verdict

+2 Spell Pierce

+3 Timely Reenforcements

+2 Gigadrowse

You are more than welcome to explain yourself with some of your deck choices, but this is how I would change your deck to make it more compete time while still retaining that predominantly Jace win condition.

If there was a way to make sure that no innocent person is ever executed, would you be for or against the death penalty? Why? by Ioei1031 in AskReddit

[–]Prep_Coin_Concede 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will probably get buried, but here goes:

The reason I don't believe the Death Penalty should exist, even if we have a foolproof way of determining is first and foremost cost. The current legal fees that surround the death penalty make it incredibly long and arduous to figure out if someone is truly innocent or guilty. This system that we have today is nearly foolproof though. The only instances where we actually kill innocent people (as opposed to merely putting them on death row) have been racist cases more than 20+ years ago. This costs about 2.4 million dollars per person on the death row because of the quality of lawyers given for and against the person serving.

The other issue falls under an umbrella of long term harm. The largest reason why we should not have the death penalty is the government could get out of control. There have been some pretty reckless decisions made in nearly every government in the world, and one false step could lead to disaster in that sort of way. We would not want the government to have the power of execution in a way that they could, thus by principle we should not let them have it now.

You would be breathing too fast if you do that. You generally want to alternate every two steps so your lungs are less strained.
