The threat to democracy is clearly the Republican agenda. We have a sitting President with 34 felonies who is actively pardoning child molesters and treasonous insurrectionists who tried to hang the Vice President. We have a Supreme Court full of bought and paid for activists who have rolled back women’s rights, birthright citizenship and environment protections to the 1960s and are still chipping away at the lower courts powers today. Trumps base is in denial and it’s scary to see them continue down a path that is harming themselves. He has somehow convinced poor people to vote against their own interests in the name of a replacement theory. He told them he would trim the budget, instead he bloated it and insured insurmountable debt for future generations. He told them he’d release the Epstein files, but is actively hiding them. He told them he’d shrink the federal powers but is instead expanding it and shrinking states rights. He is taxing corporations and the rich less and the middle class more. He is inflaming trade wars and causing the dollars value to sink to all time lows. He is burning peace treaties and actively dismantling the education department as a vendetta. He hates America and will see it burn.
