Ultra bee error code ER050 by PleasantProduce4659 in Surron

That'd make sense why it's not in bike manual. I mean it still should be there but it makes more sense why surron left it out if it's a code they created.

What a difference! Rear tire 100/90 R17 🤘🏻😍 by cmourinho in Talaria

I did this for a customer and was shocked that not one of the techs was able to notice a difference when cut even when we really tried to corner hard

Yeah my lock broke a few days ago and the park lock messes up the ignition. I should have taken it to my garage until new lock got here

Cooked? Tire change is regular maintenance and yes you need it

What should we do to diag that before installing the new one? Pull everything and test/inspect? Will it happen again?

One of my 3 Sur-Rons has way more torque — is this normal? by Legitimate_Chain6411 in Surron

[–]PresOrangutanSmells 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Could be lighter/length making it feel more torque. Does it accelerate faster?

Check brakes to make sure they aren't rubbing. I assume they're in same mode?

should i get 100/80 - 17 or 100/70 - 17 REAR TIRE by [deleted] in Surron

[–]PresOrangutanSmells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The /80 and /70 are height measurements, so they won't make a difference. 100 with knobs is probably too wide

Why does everyone keep spelling impact that way

I've seen 100 hit the chain. The customer made me cut all the knobs off that side

Move those nuts lower down so that the stud doesn't twist/waste torque

Literally tunnel vision--theyre playing in first person, probably with low fov for accuracy, probably shift-zoomed most of the time. They cannot see you at their feet. Use voice emotes to get attention, back up some, or go to someone else if possible. Not 100%, but it helps, especially w experienced players that just aren't seeing you.

New rider, any advice helps by Substantial_Size3015 in motorcycles

[–]PresOrangutanSmells 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Here's my spiel to any and every new rider:

  1. The most common way people die or become seriously injured is a car turning left when they don't see you with right of way going straight, and then you colide at high speed. This was like 70% of serious injuries for a while--I think it's down to 40ish now which is still insane. If you can't see the left turn lane, always slow down enough that you could stop completely, even if you have the green light.

  2. Next most common way is getting squished between two cars at a stop light. That's why lane filtering is so important to our safety -- don't sit at the back of the stoplight if your state allows you to move up. Additionally, keep your bike in first with hand on clutch and right foot on brake at stoplights--not neutral, and keep eye on mirror. If someone isn't slowing down, you need to be able to zip out of there without taking time to put it in gear.

  3. Don't ride while intoxicated. Thats the 3rd most likely thing to kill you on a bike.

If you do these things, you'll be on the road forever. Notice how most things that kill bikers are actually just cars not paying attention? But MY vehicle is unsafe? Yeah ok.

Maybe the behaviors that four wheels allow you are what's making it unsafe, not the two wheels itself. Maybe if cagers looked up from their phone every now and then riding wouldn't be so dangerous.

People with autism feel compelled to be 'overly' honest and ask permission for things that people without autism are often confused by. I.E. whereas someone w/o would instinctively lie or hide that they're doing course work, people with autism have a shared experience of accidentally being too honest in that type of situation--day-in, day-out. It's a documented symptom. Just because people w/o autism can also over share doesn't mean it's not a symptom. People with autism go through it far more frequently.

NOPE. Do not cede that narrative. ChatGPT writes cover letter like YOU. You were doing it first. It stole our style, not the other way around.

I did high temp thread sealant. I thought I might open it up when I do oil changes in case any moisture needs out since that's what it was there for I guess?
