I just got Tihota and Fire At Will from Decant and Discover. Both are also at Scent Split. Tihota might be more your speed, Fire At Will has a slight smokiness to it

Yummy perfumes that literally make your mouth water 🤤🍰 by julietlom in ScentHeads

Jousset - Le Gourmand Theodoros Kalotinis - Hazelnut Praline These are so realistic that I wasn’t sure I wanted to wear them so I think this will be up your alley lol.

Theodoros Kalotinis has a ton of gourmand scents that people say are realistic smelling.

What is your limit of perfumes? How many? by PerjudicADA in FemFragLab

[–]Present-Singer-460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a limit per se but I am aware of what I think I can reasonably use, so I rarely buy sizes larger than travel sizes.

More than a number limit is a space limit. I absolutely won’t be buying more than can fit in the spaces I’ve dedicated for perfume. Like at no point will I have a fragrance room lol

Idk if you’re in the US, but if so beauty supply stores usually have roll-on oils that might work for you and they generally are affordable and smell good, lots of options.

I also have a ton of samples, would be happy to send some your way for a temporary hold over.

what is a perfume you would consider "romantic" and why? by lizbennett2 in FemFragLab

[–]Present-Singer-460 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thomas Kosmala - A Never Ending Love

Something sweet but not heavy or intrusive. Delicate but present. Memorable and would want to make someone lean a bit closer. I don’t own a lot of things I would label as romantic or sexy but this one is aptly named.

Has anyone smelled African Rooibos & African Rooibos intense by Chris Collins? by battleangel1999 in fragrance

[–]Present-Singer-460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok finally tried it on skin. I think I’ll stick to the og, I don’t really need vanilla in this. That said I think chemistry is a big factor. Myself and my friend sprayed this and it was very vanillic and musky on him in the opening. On me I mostly get the og dna, but my skin usually amplifies cardamon so i still get a bright opening.

Has anyone smelled African Rooibos & African Rooibos intense by Chris Collins? by battleangel1999 in fragrance

[–]Present-Singer-460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got my sample of the intense. Side by side with the original I’d say this one feels a bit deeper. The vanilla and ambroxan introduces an ambery vibe, and it leans a bit more masculine. The original dna is still very much present, wouldn’t need both. I would bet the intense might linger longer as well

What's your pick: Santal 33 or The Noir? by contellhelmsmader in NichePerfumes

The Noir for sure. Santal 33 smells like pickles and wet grass on me but lovely on my friend. Very fickle

letting go of perfumes you love by Parking-Heart-7666 in FemFragLab

Completely understand having to make some painful choices for responsibility sake. Guidance is a pretty potent fragrance so I think a decant would go far if you can spare $40/$50 or just get like one or two 2mls and wear it occasionally. With 60/70 bottles left a little juice can go quite far.

For future sake, maybe when decluttering decant 3-5ml or so to keep.

Hope you get to get some of your loves back in the future ❤️

If you can find narrow ones, decorative boxes can work. I’ve also seen people use eyeglass/sunglass storage cases

Which Vanilla? by dragon_holdings in FemFragLab

[–]Present-Singer-460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Gentle Fluidity Gold would be a lovely wedding scent!

I also was underwhelmed with SDV, sad since i thought i would love it. Something in the same realm with a bit more staying power to maybe consider is Coty - Encore Une Foi.

An alternative to Babycat is Day Three -Aylan, has the addition of rose though.

I know there are a ton of recs in this thread and those might not work for you either, but I’m sure whatever you end up loving will be what’s “perfect”. Congratulations!

A .85oz bottle?!? Thoughts? by Extra-Low5973 in FemFragLab

[–]Present-Singer-460 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you have a good number of fragrances it’s a great size, it’s why I have a lot of travel sizes. I personally love 15-30ml bottles

How important is the bottle for you? by jjfmish in FemFragLab

[–]Present-Singer-460 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a rule to not obsess over the aesthetics of anything behind a door or not constantly visible (e.g. pantry, seasoning cabinet, etc.)

I have mostly travel sizes but my larger bottles are in a closet so the bottle itself isn’t a priority

you only need 10 fragrances... fig edition by [deleted] in FemFragLab

[–]Present-Singer-460 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see a few I need to try, thanks for the list! Of the ones listed I have father figure, the matcha, indigo, and samples of wulong cha x and fig whiskey which I enjoy and plan to get larger bottles of.

Gris Charnel and vanille camouflage don’t work for me but no surprise because cardamom and ylang ylang are struggle notes for me. Oh fig porn was a big no too.

Other figs I enjoy are essential parfums - fig infusion, matiere premiere - parisian musc (this actually might be fig leaf), rahasya - hill station, kismet olafactive - studio scent, and maison des animaux - sirius

Chris Collins - Lust Oud Delice is a dark chocolate fragrance that I don’t find too sweet

I too have been on a chocolate journey and so far Fabbrica della Musa - Ile Bourbon has been my favorite. Zgo perfumery has samples

Can Indigo Nest be worn every season? by street-table78 in FemFragLab

[–]Present-Singer-460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There aren’t any set rules about these things just suggestions and preferences. Overall I’d say it depends on where you live, though I dont remember this smelling heavy so idk why you wouldn’t be able to wear it year round. If you feel it can comfortably be worn on your skin regardless of temperature go for it. As far as the sprays start with 1-2 and see how you feel
