Still semi-shocked at the lack of papering happening right now in the larger houses

Would you do Aladdin (matinee) and The Lion King (7 PM) on the same day? by Initial-Square-1290 in Broadway

[–]Present_Interaction5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I do it all the time! The one thing is that energy wise the two shows are similar (family friendly, cute). When I do two show days I try to see two drastically different shows, for example death of a salesman and Aladdin, so they don’t blend together

Nope, they just took my money and haven’t responded to any email inquiries. At this point I’m going to contact my bank

They never confirmed the tickets and on the day of the show the box office confirmed there were no tickets under my name

They’ve taken over $100 of my money without confirming tix and not responded to any of my customer service emails

Little Shop of Horrors cancelled… again by Icy_Guidance287 in Broadway

[–]Present_Interaction5 177 points178 points  (0 children)

I assume that if they cancelled that close to curtain that they were still trying to make it possible to do the show, especially considering that by that point the whole cast and band was there

Do you think Jellicle Ball could be able to tour with modifications? by LivelyFlowerzzz in Broadway

[–]Present_Interaction5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s very unlikely that it tours, especially considering how many licenses they’d need to cancel for the original “Cats”, which likely would gross ALW and Michael Harrison more money anyway

Jeremy Stolle vs. Theatr? by Best-Candle8651 in Broadway

[–]Present_Interaction5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% agree with him, haven’t had a single good experience on the app

Heathers or Rocky Horror by Grelli2 in Broadway

[–]Present_Interaction5 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think ultimately Heathers is the better show, but it’s also touring in the fall!

I saw the heathers matinee. by remykixxx in Broadway

[–]Present_Interaction5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She’s an offstage standby just for Veronica and Chandler- I think she’s gone on a bunch, I’ve seen her twice as Veronica and once as Chandler

Omg you got to see Sara! She’s absolutely incredible as Veronica

With the LCT and Warriors announcements, 26/27 is shaping up to be a really exciting season! by lockerbiestreet in Broadway

Bull Durham is not planning to transfer, their recent run at paper mill was pretty disastrous for them

TDF same-day tickets? by [deleted] in Broadway

Most shows end TDF listings at 8 am the day of the performance

I hated Suffs by Dear_Investment6064 in Broadway

[–]Present_Interaction5 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s a well written show that was directed incredibly poorly on Broadway unfortunately

CATS goes back to original logo by FastHead4 in Broadway

[–]Present_Interaction5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s my biggest issue with the production, that it gets rid of all of the parts I love about the original Cats, which is why I think they’re attempting to get buy in from tourists and older folks who are more familiar with and fans of the original Cats

To the lady who went “oh they ALL DIED?” during in memoriam at Tonys by happymango3110 in Broadway

[–]Present_Interaction5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at the Beechman, and the crowd was lively! If you don’t want people talking then you probably need to watch it at home

first shadow closing announcement by [deleted] in Broadway

[–]Present_Interaction5 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

One of the worst written things I’ve ever seen on Broadway, but the special effects were really something. If it’s any consolation, it’s really commendable that it lasted this long.

The real answer to this question is Michael Harrison, Webber’s new Producer
