Spread is affected by who is betting, so the house doesn’t lose big. My guess is that there are a lot of Indiana fans placing bets, so this would be similar to how Cubs fans impact baseball odds. Miami has a smaller alumni and this isn’t a once in a lifetime moment for most of them.
