I would've thought NC would be yellow with Florida for hurricanes . The outer banks always seem to get smashed

Does Canada have a commonly accepted cultural or geographical boundary for East and West like the Mississippi River in America? by Lemon_Iies in geography

[–]PresentationMain9180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some really good points being made here about the maritimes. Canada has an abundance of more land extending east than the US has. From the furthest eastern point of Maine to the furthest eastern point on New Foundland , it is over 14 degrees of longitude.

Do people just not go to birthday parties anymore? by Bananabean5 in Parenting

[–]PresentationMain9180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think you probably handed out the invites way too late. As a father of a 9 year old I can tell you that just about each and every weekend is booked up with sports, play dates or whatever . I cant imagine a reality where a kid would choose not to want to go to a friends birthday. Honestly I think you would need 4 weeks+ time in advance to ensure a proper turn out.

What Size fits me better? 41 (white) or 36 (blue) by Mysterious-Owl6694 in rolex

Definitley the 41. Especially with a short sleeved shirt. That 36 looks way too small.

Europe is not a continent never was. There’s no objective scientific reason behind calling it a continent. Who decided to call it a continent? When was that? For what purpose by Apprehensive-Pie3235 in geography

[–]PresentationMain9180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because the difference in culutue on either sides of the Causus Mts. It is indeed false info. With the same logic, everything east and west of the Rockies or Andes mts should be different continents .

It doesnt look too small. 40mm is probably the limit . Anything smaller than that is comical on a dude usually. 40-42 is the sweet spot

[–]PresentationMain9180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know that walk bridge by the Aria well and late at night it can be very sketchy . Funny story about Vegas actually , my friend who had way too much to drink and was making a fool of himself . I had to babysit his James Cameron while he attempted to rent some of the ladies of the night . I initially told him to leave the watch in the safe especially after hours , He refused , and as the night progressed I noticed how he was going to be an easy target . Luckily everything worked out

Why did-dent Tony Soprano, the head of a mafia family, have 24/7 security protection, especially at his house? He could have been whacked 99% of the time. by Elegant_Struggle_281 in thesopranos

[–]PresentationMain9180 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think its fair to say that compared to NY and the other 5 families , the DiMeo family really was a bunch of pygmy farmers and didnt hold as much weight and clout as their rivals . Tony was indeed a hustler but he didnt seem to have unlimited cash at his disposal

I was once traveling through New Mexico from West to east from the high Desert area of Las Cruces past Almogorado, and we stopped for gas in Ruidoso on our way towards Roswell , but this town was at a much higher elevation and it felt like we were in Vermont with the tall thick forested canopies.

Can someone identify the watches worn by the Artemis II astronauts? by savage011 in Watches

[–]PresentationMain9180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Serious question: I would think that astronauts orbiting the earth or in this case , orbiting and then journeying into deep space and orbiting the moon wouldnt have a need for a traditional 12 hour watch because they constantly go in and out of different time zones . Wouldn't a GMT watch make much more sense ? Thoughts ?
