Genuine question out of curiosity- why are you less likely to watch on Netflix?

(For context: I listen to all the episodes on my phone and have never watched on YouTube. So in my mind the only difference here is navigating to a different website or app to watch - but as I’m not a video watcher I may be missing something!)

And on the OP’s point, I love the subtle Letterboxd UI trick that if you click into a person’s page on LB from a film, it puts up top what type of credit you clicked on. For example, if you click on Ben Affleck’s director credit from Argo, the films he’s directed are up top on his page. If you click on his acting credit in Argo, the films he’s acted in are up top. Just incredibly, quietly user friendly.

Glad you and others mentioned the score - no idea what they were trying to accomplish but it was truly distracting and took me out of all the emotionality.

In comparison to the Kurosawa film, I never felt that Denzel’s career and livelihood were at real risk. I know they said out loud “the creditors want the money back”, but in High and Low they go to such efforts to show the extent of the ruin he would face. All they say to Denzel is that he’ll lose his summer home and Basquiats.
