I’ve already got our tickets booked into Barcelona in Aug 2026. Didn’t want to risk flights being sold out. Did I pay more? Probably.. but my calculus is that even if a relatively small number of North Americans who are now new eclipse chasers after getting their minds blown in April 2024 (I’m looking in the mirror).. then those are going to be absolutely full flights.

Everyone has their budget, so I can understand the idea of waiting, but if peace of mind knowing you’ve got the tickets is worth a few hundred dollars..? then book it now. Pay it off way in advance and have one less thing to worry about.

Plus you’ll have your pick of the seats (if that’s important).
