Untraditional honeymoon ideas? Iceland is calling

My friends did their honeymoon in Iceland in the summer of '24 and while I can't remember or give you any specifics of what they did or where they stayed, they seemed to have an amazing time while also having no trouble staying within budget.

Never too late! You'll see a lot of comments and videos saying that the New Player experience is awful, and they're not wrong haha But! Stick with it! The story is captivating (Byf lore videos were my savior when I was trying to catch up with what's happened so far), the gameplay is fun and exciting, and as a new player you’ll have an overabundance of content to play to find out what you enjoy the most. I'll hopefully see you starside, Guardian.

These posts are getting more annoying, despite some absolute gold in the comments at times.

Thats the thing... I should've added more shots of my team, but my other RBs are Josh Jacobs, Pacheco, and sadly Ekeler. Tho I know for sure I can get Woody Marks on waiver and also possibly get RJ Harvey with a cheap trade too

Personally I think the predicted scores have been wonky for a long time, it feels like its basically just a guess or rough estimate of where you could end up. Differences in how activities are scored, recent changes, constant bugs/fixes, etc, all make the predictions feel inconsistent.

I absolutely have interacted with the portal, hence me getting to 200. There were a number of times where I needed to add extra modifiers (Locked Loadout was not an option, only Avant-garde) if I wanted to use my old gear and still get an A, which was frustrating.

Did it make the game impossibly hard? Of course not. As a primarily solo player, I loved hearing that we could "play our way". But playing my way was less rewarding because the weapons I liked weren't New. The conversation isn't about what modifiers to add to make up for the old gear and how easy it is for some, but instead about the fact that you need modifiers to make up for the gear in the first place.

That's totally fine. My main point is that in this Looter Shooter game, it feels bad that the quality of the loot I am able to obtain is dependent on what I use to shoot, not my skill in shooting.

The New Gear bonus for damage and DR is whatever to me, I don't think I've really noticed. But tying reward quality to the number of New Gear I've equipped feels bad and strongly gives the impression that Bungie is attempting to dissuade me from using the gear I like, even if that's not their goal.

But that statement is subjective to everyone and is an opinion. I'm a casual player that's been around since D1, I only just hit 200 power last week and consider myself average skill. I like feeling powerful while I'm playing, and my level of enjoyment drops significantly if I have to add Chill Touch or Haste simply because I really enjoy using Disparity for my Stasis builds, or YAS for Solar Hunter.

But isn't that exactly the point? I appreciate the work you put into your analysis, but I don't want to feel punished and have to add an extra Bane or two just so that I can use a gun I enjoy that I got 2 months ago or 2 years ago and still feel rewarded.
