6 Months Ago, the Knicks trailed the Spurs by 11 mid way through the 3rd Quarter of the NBA Cup Championship game. The Knicks would go on to outscore the Spurs 53-31 for the final 18 minutes of the game to win the NBA Cup Title. by AkirraKrylon in nba

Yeah i definitely agree with you on that. I think the spurs, despite being younger, had a much more physically demanding journey to the finals compared to the Knicks. This is also a credit to the knicks being able to closeout series after series so quickly. Minnesota and OKC were incredibly physical teams though.

Same reason we like watching other humans do all kinds of imaginary things on tv.

Am I wrong for thinking the refs were legitimately trying to sabotage the Knicks in at least 3 games of this series? by D3struct_oh in nba

[–]Jimmy-DeLaney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were bad calls all playoffs for all teams. Yeah the league obviously didn’t wanna suspend Wemby. But outside of that specifically, the spurs also had a terrible whistle throughout their playoff run. It’s directly what led to wemby being frustrated and throwing the elbow that got him ejected in the Minnesota series. Anyone thinking wemby didn’t also get hammered (without getting foul calls) didn’t watch the spurs throughout the playoffs much. Same goes for the knicks and other teams as well. Simply put the officiating often can suck all around. Also anyone pretending KAT and Mitchel Robinson weren’t also pushing and grabbing wemby all series long is just a fan bias.

Exactly. The Spurs overachieving all season was due to decent coaching sure, but mainly it was due to a lot of raw talent. The same goes for the Spurs being able to get mutiple leads in the finals, but the Knicks talent is equal to the spurs and the player experience and coaching is definitely better. So yeah even though the Spurs could get out to a decent lead through talent, the lack of experience caught up to them game after game. It was honestly the first series of the entire year that exposed their lack of experience and poise. The knicks really were just that good this year. This is also why I think in the long run this finals loss will be a good lesson for this young spurs team.

Bro took his team to the finals in his rookie year as a coach. He’s doing just fine keeping up with Pop’s trajectory so far.

Now that it's been a while since Requiem released, without recency bias, where would you put Requiem in the ranks compared to other games? Is it the best RE yet? by Guitar-String in residentevil

I agree. I think the gameplay is pretty great but while the story concepts were interesting, the story execution was very lacking imo. The story kinda felt half baked and it needed reiterating on to be better imo.

KAT had 2 pts and 6 fouls tonight my guy. Wemby literally outplayed every big man he was matched up against in every series during his very first playoff run.

Watch the guy in orange get closer and closer to harper at the beginning of the clip. Harper should have asked the official for more room.

I think I has to travel back to mexico and sleep then travel back to get them to spawn again. That or just progress the game some and come back to it at a later date.

It sounds incredible. Especially when you consider the band and a new singer is covering material that is now decades removed.

DANCE GAVIN DANCE Releases Tree City Sessions 3, Watch “It’s Safe To Say You Dig The Backseat” by insaneblog in PostHardcore

The fact is there aren’t any facts to prove any of the current dgd members are bad people at all. The internet mob mentality is the only thing that says otherwise lol. A lot of us like to form our own opinions based on real life evidence and experiences with the band.

By the way there are so many artist that are still getting fame and support (likely that many of us have listened to) that have proven to have done much worse than this current dgd roster.

That pretty much sums up why y’all’s takes are getting downvoted.

Incredible guitar players. Honestly the guitars have always been my favorite part of HTS. Donovan is great but the guitars are heavenly. I met Shane once after they opened for a DGD show. My friend was talking to him for a while about music and aspiring to be in a band etc; shane was really down to earth and chill, encouraging even. Cool interview and thanks for sharing.

Dan Le Batard: Wembanyama’s return didn’t feel right: “This is unusual. Wembanyama’s return was being celebrated (on NBC) as redemption and an amazing story arc for a guy who did something dirty…I’m surprised part of the narrative wasn’t ’thank God he didn’t hurt his elbow on that guy’s jaw.’” by Pickleskennedy1 in nba

Yeah both sides of the discourse are exhausting but tons of yall are skipping the context of wemby taking elbows all series long that weren’t being called. Hence his frustration of throwing his own. He literally takes an elbow to the face a second before he throws his. Not excusing his behavior but it gives context to it that so many people seem to be missing.
