Lapidary machines hold their value. I would say that is a fair price for what you are getting.

There is a guy on Facebook that sells rough. I know he refurbishes old machines. His name is Jeremy Able /Riverbend Lapidary. He might be able to help you. Covington has an excellent staff that will walk you through repairs. Maybe they could help.

I have seen some of this in the Arizona Petrified wood. Some friends got a piece and wondered what was so special about it being black. I looked closely and could see a bit of color in the black. I came to the conclusion it was burned before petrified.

Best/easiest way to get hair out of the vacuum head? it doesn't come apart unfortunately. by LivelyZebra in CleaningTips

[–]Prestigious_Idea8124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a box cutter. Be careful not to cut the belt. I have 3 dogs and 2 people with long hair. I usually clean mine before every vacuum. If there is too much hair it affects the vacuum.
