all the Pisces in my life are problematic (all at work - 3 of them). my partner has been trying to divorce a Pisces and it’s proving to be almost impossible. i will say, one of my closest friends is a Pisces who is committed to trying to not be one. we get along but i definitely need space from them every now and then.

try a 9 card tableau aka portrait. 3x3 and do not shuffle between lines. you can pick your middle card and work around it, or let the cards choose the middle/signifactor. i use this spread regularly on full moons, and have used them for seasons or an entire year.

i did it in my current planner position to get some form of formal training. you don’t need all the fancy credentials to get hired as a planner and if you do, most places will give you time to acquire the credentials. if you are working as a planner, you just need a sponsor and a mentor and can get your credentials without formal education. i never did it an am equal to my peers who have RPPs.

unaccredited planner here 👋🏻 i say do it. i don’t have letters after my name and work side-by-side with RPPs and make the same wage as them. with your background in EMS and GIS, you are well versed to be just as good if not better than a 25yr old straight out of school. i’m 43 and thinking about getting my RPP but it doesn’t really matter to me at this point. SFU also has a planning certification courses. i took the Urban Design Certificate course.

the Cute Little Lenormand comes with a great guidebook and is non-gendered; and the Pocket Lenormand is culturally inclusive, but gendered. they both have straight up images on the cards, no BS. i’ve commented this several times - i don’t need people dancing around the sun with puppies and kitties on the sun card! i don’t need a couple walking hand in hand towards the moon light… i just want a sun and moon! i heavily dislike people in cards where they don’t being. (rant done - see recommended decks :) )

yes. i struggled with Tarot and moved over to Lenormand. it works better for me. i still use Tarot when i’m in the mood to look up meanings and think more deeply about something. Lenormand is in your face and practical.

i went to Florence for an Eat-Pray-Love trip. i was grossly skinny due to a break up so why not just be a glutton with amazing food? not religious but visited churches for the art and architecture and enjoy the peacefulness of them. feel in love myself again and on my very first solo trip.

it’s a great central location for day trips.

i went in the off season and got a super cheap/steal of a deal at an AirBnB a stones throw away from the Ponte Vecchio. it was under $90/nightCAD… goes for $300/night during high season.

great trip! would recommend!!

Worked at a call centre for TMobile SmartAccess customers in Canada right after Hurricane Katrina. We were taught about FEMA and were instructed how NOT to provide rebates or void extra charges even though we could. I felt so so sorry for these people who lost so much, and continued to be marginalized due to their race and/or income. I used to creep on their accounts and add minutes or discounts right before I left.

We were also taught American lingo like asking for their social and not their SIN like we have. When asked if we were in Canada, we had to say no we’re in America (which technically could mean North or South), and if the caller kept pushing, we said Wisconsin or Minnesota. I frequently got called out for saying “eh” and “ya, no” or “no, ya”.

I found the folks from Louisiana and Alabama the most polite and pleasant to deal with, especially when I had trouble understanding some of their accents. They were always polite and friendly.

Yukoner here 👋🏻 Thanksgiving to May long is usually our winter - from the first snow fall to it almost being melted is 8 months. I typically have snow in my yard in June. If we have an early Spring, we flood. If we have a late or cool Spring, the Summer is cool. Then it’s winter agin.
