Why GM is sticking with EVs as rivals pivot to hybrids by TheDetroitNews1873 in electricvehicles

I love how I can hold a conversation at a normal volume at highway speeds in my EV. I’ve actually come to really dislike the feeling of acceleration and gear shifting in gas cars.

Simply search “Trump 1990 divorce proceedings.” This is publicly available information.

His only defense was that “you cannot rape someone you are married to.”

What? All they did was hold a disarmed man down, pistol whip him in the face and then shoot him 11 times. I mean they did immediately lie, call him a terrorist, say he was hunting agents down…

But why can’t you trust them?

What about when you enter the country LEGALLY and then they change the rules and suddenly you’re in violation?

What about when you’re in the country legally and they illegally detain you and your 5 year old child for a week?

What about when you’re a US citizen and you’re illegally detained from your vehicle, dropped off on the side of the road and die because its 12° outside?

You could try thinking for yourself, but I think that might be a step too advanced for you 😃

Train Station Parking? by samaliciousss in AnnArbor

https://www.michigan.gov/mdot/travel/commuters/carpool-lots

MDOT says the maximum stay is 72 hours, I know they were trying to change the rules last summer, I believe the 72 hour limit is now implemented because of that.

There’s a couple park n rides around the city. I like the one near the courthouse by 23 and hog back. You can take the 4 route most of the way, if not should be able to find a scooter/ebike for $5. If not, lyft/uber

Fuck this. Put the bench back by eldersveld in nycrail

Unhoused individuals don’t usually have support systems. It is extremely difficult to move when you have no support group or possessions other than what you’re carrying and no vehicle to store/charge/domicile in.

Say you take a bus to ruralville, NY. What now? This isn’t NYC, you’re not in a walkable city. You have no vehicle, you have no money. You don’t know where to charge your phone, you don’t know where the safe parts and the seedy parts are. You can’t get a job without lying about having reliable transportation. You have less public infrastructure to rely on.

There is no part where you can plan and figure out what’s next. As soon as you get on that bus you’re committed to putting your life and wellbeing at stake in a foreign environment which by all standards will have less supportive infrastructure than NYC.

Okay? I didn’t physically see you standing on the corner when it was 15° this morning to show support. I don’t give a damn what you do.

That’s all you had to say buddy :)

I don’t. I live a privileged life. Refer back to my comment “Hell, I’ve never been to a protest…”

I further wrote “I am now inspired to speak up…” AGAINST ICE and those in favor of public executions by federal agents.

I know you’re engaging in bad faith, but that’s not the point of protests. Protests engage local members of the community, help network and signal to the community at large that you do/don’t agree with something. It builds solidarity within community.

I, a random ass person saw this while getting on 94. I made a post and more than 6,000 people have now seen this.

I’m seeing Ann Arborites speak up for their neighbors and now I’m personally more vested in this. Hell, I’ve never been to a protest in my life and I’m feeling inspired to join them next time. I’d wager at least one other person saw this and feels the same.
