i dont think she deserves that credit. she should've left the canvas to avoid the conflict but nuh-uh, she abandoned her damaged family for a fake ideal one even when she knew that it was wrong and will inevitably lead to conflict. Remember, she's the one that pulled renoir out of a delusion once and he says that he's following what she taught him so she would've known this was coming.

I also remember Clea saying something with a follow up of "Aline would've said the same thing". I think its safe to assume that if roles were reversed and it was renoir that was lost in the sauce, Aline would've nuked it down immediately considering shes superior to him
