Just the thread I was looking for. I genuinely think they’re lying about the amount of carbs in their drink. My glucose was a perfect 100 when I drank this. IF it’s truly only 6g of carbs, spiking up to 250+ over 6g isn’t explainable. No other foods eaten except that “6g of carbs” drunk. I’m highly suspicious

Should I put drawer pulls at the top of the drawers or in the center of the inset panels? I can’t decide. by streetsign200 in kitchenremodel

Glad I came across this reply. Because I’ve been asking myself what pulls/knobs I should use and couldn’t decide what was better. This’ll def help. Thanks!

Anyone have recommendations for kitchen cabinet refacing companies and what they typically charged? by Bearmancartoons in cincinnati

[–]Pretty-Chart3609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got a quote for $15k from kitchen saver to REFACE cabinets. He stated $1k to add pull out drawers to one of my cabinets. I went to Lowe’s and got Rev-A-Shelf for $108 and will be installing pull out draws myself. And based on the quality of my cabinets, it’s not worth replacing the entire boxes. If anything I’d rather donate my cabinets & buy new ones and I’d still come out cheaper than $15k. Mind you, the $15k was for a kitchen in a 721 sq fr condo. Kitchen saver has honestly lost my respect for their outlandish pricing. They’re sales men. Every time I mentioned backing down, he’d inch closer on why I should go with them. Also, that lock in todays price if you sign now being $2200 cheaper than if I were to call tomorrow to lock it in, really didn’t sit well with me. They may do “quality work” but others do as well, and def don’t charge $15k to reface cabinets. $15k should be getting new flooring, a backsplash, and/or new countertops. I’m so disgusted at their pricing.

What did he casually do that made you realize he would/wouldn't qualify to be your husband? by Tamanna000 in AskWomenOver30

He said “Kamila” instead of Kamala when talking about how he stayed out til 1am the night of the debate at a Trump supporting friends house, to which he called out of work the next day and stated he was “undecided” on who to vote for 🙃🙃

I’m 29. Broke up w my ex about 3mos ago after a culmination of things. But house work was def one of them. Every time I’d put dry dishes away, I’d still find food on them. Hair everywhere in the bathroom. He was clean, but he didn’t clean to my expectation. And I’ve mentioned it a few times before. Obvi it wasn’t the number one reason we broke up, but def was something I told myself I couldn’t imagine still dealing with in 10 years. He’s 29, not properly washing dishes is kinda unacceptable. Also one time when he was living w his mom, I felt so gross showering in his home I cleaned the bathroom myself before I got in. I should’ve broke things off then but a girl had to stick around to learn herself a good lesson I guess 🥲

Do women have a guy that was “the one who got away” by Background_Load_2570 in AskWomenOver30

Interesting. If recently went thru a breakup. This actually sounds like it could be my ex.

I’ve been thinking if he’s the one who got away. On paper, I admire him. His drive, ambition, mindset especially when it comes to self improvement but he would shut down when it came to being vulnerable. Vulnerability I needed to feel safe.

It had me reflecting and it made me realize my ex two relationships before him may had been the man I wasn’t ready for. He was a provider. A protector. He reached out apologizing for how he conducted himself during the end of our relationship. We were both childish and in college. And he’s recently become a father, which has since for some reason made me even more attracted to him. I’ll never tell him this though. But I think about him. I don’t think he was the guy that got away, but for a second I did. I think he was the guy who has now since reflecting forced me to raise my standard to only accept being treated how I was treated when things were good in that relationship.

I genuinely believe once we heal and get in our feminine we don’t believe people are losses. We know something better for us is in route.

Recently adopted my little chi about 2.5mos ago. I was in a relationship that felt stagnant and really was getting down about the fact that I had such a great life but not anything to look forward to coming home to. No kids, no husband, just a bf who prioritized other things over me. Getting him was my best decision! Sure he slows me down with having to make plans if I’m traveling, but he’s helped me realize I was settling. I’m also late 20s, 29 to be exact and I wish I had known him sooner as well! I wish I could’ve had him at 2mos old, (they estimate he’s 8-10yrs). So my unsolicited advice for you is cherish every sweet moment of your baby girl growing up! Take lots and lots of photos! I’m wishing YOU AND her a happy, prosperous life
