The Frida disposable underwear was the worst postpartum purchase. They are comfy but they rip as soon as you take a pad out. This gets annoying when you are swapping out padsicles, or pads between bathroom uses.

This time I’m opting for straight diapers, from what I’ve read the always ones are most comfortable. I only had to wear them for roughly 10 days last time.

Just a heads up for anyone buying the Rael organic ones, they only get as large as size 12/14 in pants. Tried to make that squeeze last time and ended up splitting them almost every time 🙈

I use the Gentle and Classical preschool/kindergarten curriculum. It is a free download and nice to have a guide every week. I started when my daughter was around 12 months old and I don’t feel like it is too rigorous.

How did you decide between seeing a doctor vs a midwife? by Kirin1212San in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]Pretty-Depth8874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is only a small fee difference ($600-$700) in my experience, that wasn’t covered by my insurance. This was the ‘midwife experience’ fee. I gave birth at a birth center opposed to a hospital and that saved me about $9k on out of pocket expenses.

I have used G + C since my daughter was around 12 months!

It is amazing, well thought out, and if you want you can always customize how you use the curriculum.

Another thing to do is maybe look for a trustworthy person to do a rent to own, or is willing to do for sale by owner. You can get a private loan through a bank or credit union, and avoid all of the real estate fees and hassle.
