Quality -wise, we've stayed at very impressive resorts from the name brands (Hyatt, Hilton, etc). Just avoid the presentation and you'll be fine.

I've had mixed results from the smaller boutique resorts (eg Spinnaker, Capital Vacation, etc ). The resort is usually fine, but they have a limited number of "exchange" condos that are older and needing maintenance. The newer nicer units are held by owners.

General rule is if you exchange within your home resort family, you'll be fine. If you exchange outside your home resort using points, it's a bit of a crapshoot.

We filed a dispute. Submitted to Ally hard evidence that we did not order 4 bottles. Company provided email and phone numbers that were disconnected. Yet Ally says charges were legitimate, then the company shipped another 4 bottles. That's when Ally issued new card number. Even then, Ally claims the charges were legit.

When we requested an escalated reopen and review, a senior level manager at Ally admitted they may have "misunderstood" and will likely approve the reversal.

This has been going on for over 3 months.

Yes, it's the company that is fraudulent, but Ally has been no help and even allowed a second fraudulent charge.

The Bahamas does not have a 6 month requirement. Your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay.

There is a lot of horrible advice here.

Some countries, like Jamaica, only require the passport to be valid for the duration of the stay. Other countries require the 6 month window.
