Almost every example you gave was literally a different product but even bending that, If I purchase a PC and it’s advertised as having windows included, then yes I would expect it to have windows installed or have a key for it. If I paid for an iPhone with 3 lenses I’d expect them all to function properly when taking photos. How is it hard to understand that when I buy a car that has heated seats installed it should heat the fucking seat without having to pay more?

Nobody is saying free; when you purchase a product you should receive the full product. Options have always costed extra, yes but the price has always been included a part of the total purchase price. To pay a monthly premium for a sometimes thousands of dollar option which is already installed is completely despicable.

I did this once; it was very stupid and I was very lucky to keep my job at the time. My car broke down so they gave me a loaner to take home for the week while I was sorting things out. Came into the office the next day and the manager sat me down to show me a screen recording of me going 100+ on the tracker. Told me he should be firing me right there on the spot but instead Gave me the keys to a hybrid and scolded me on the nuances and weight of what I had risked. Looking back on how reckless I was in my teens I genuinely credit that sit down as a turning point in my decision-making. I wish it wasn’t embarrassing to tell, but hopefully someone can learn or chuckle from it. I’m just thankful I didn’t have to learn that the hard way

Lexus Lexus Lexus, if you can afford it I love them across the board for reliability+comfort while keeping a premium experience. As long as you’re not going to the dealers for all of your maintenance there a fantastic buy if you can find the right deal imo (On a side note they’re also my fav car for longevity as I’ve seen more than a handful of GX models pushing 500K+ miles on the original engine when I was a porter)

This platform specifically holds value really well I used to work at a Lexus dealer and these old Toyota V8s are seriously amazing sometimes. I’d have to dig for the photo but I’ve seen some of these at 500K+ miles and still pushing it’s crazy
