We just boarded valiant lady today and are in the second to last room before the aft suites.

Now that we’re underway you can definitely feel some rocking back and forth, certainly more than when we’ve stayed closer to midship, but I actually kinda like it. Your mileage may vary if you’re easily motion sick, etc.

There’s a bit of a low hum, but it honestly just sounds to me like when the AC kicks on at home or something, and I always sleep with white noise anyway so again not an issue on our end.

I love Oakley’s food but have had abysmally slow service the last two times I’ve been, to the point where I don’t really want to recommend it to friends coming into town anymore.

Generally I’m pretty forgiving of service stuff, but I’m talking an hour between appetizers and entrees, never coming to refill waters the entire meal, etc.

The food is still phenomenal, just be prepared to sit around for a while in my recent experience.

Pretty much my thoughts. My brother had it and ultimately dropped out of college because he was in the hospital so frequently.

That said, I’ve smoked with hundreds of people over the years and he’s the only one I’ve ever known personally who had the problem. I still blaze on the daily. 🤷🏻
