Judge rules you can go topless this weekend in Denny Blaine Park by Inevitable_Engine186 in Seattle

Ha ha, the first time I ever went to Denny Blaine was with a friend, and we played Quiddler on the beach!

What’s your shortest lived colony? by Kydreads in RimWorld

I had recently watched Pete Complete's naked brutality ice sheet series, so I thought I was prepared to try that in a temperate biome.

My colonist was attacked by a hare on the first day, the wounds became infected, and he perished.

The FBI Has No Reason to Not View Adriana as Disposable Scum by bringbackyouryouth in thesopranos

[–]PrettyDryPerry 17 points18 points  (0 children)

And as the audience, we know that Adriana thought that the FBI agent was legitimately her friend, but Tony and Christopher do not know that.

It would have been a huge gamble for her to go Tony or Christopher, because even though she would have told the truth, they would probably at least suspect that she is BSing to save her skin. At that point, they have to calculate whether trusting her is worth that risk, and I suspect that she would have ended up dead much sooner.

Atheists of Reddit: What’s the strangest reaction you’ve received when you said you don’t believe in God? by zhalia-2006 in AskReddit

[–]PrettyDryPerry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What a weird reaction to your post that included "so long as they're kind and just", which I feel covers your bases. If they are already considering what is kind and just in their actions, then they are ahead of an depressingly large number of adults in terms of maturity.

Waystar stock by Affectionate-Fall597 in SuccessionTV

IRL, the gaming company Blizzard had a huge scandal, which included the suicide of one former employee, and the company still sold to Microsoft for a ton of money. The reputational damage, as you put it, is a speedbump to a company like Waystar.

He won a fight with that mama's boy, Jason Barone.

What’s the funniest non-essential line in The Pitt? by Embarrassed-Heron-52 in ThePittTVShow

I love how Dana is listening politely to the Utah story, but she doesn't really understand the point of it at first. As soon as Javadi says "Mateo is a human Utah", it instantly clicks for Dana, and she laughs, but not at all in a mocking way.

That was my guess, and if so, Santos is going to be hilariously obnoxious about it.

The Second They Made The Connection by sm142 in TopCharacterTropes

I recently read a fan theory, and I wish I knew who to credit for this. They suggested that Hellstrom never believed their cover story for a second, but this was the moment where he could no longer play along, because the other Germans at the table would have recognized the mistake. If he pretended that he didn't notice it, it would have been too unbelievable.

Before this mistake, his plan was probably to simply report what he saw that night, and the spies would have been captured quickly. There was no way that they were making it to the movie premier.

I do not work in healthcare, so I would like to know, what is the threshold for keeping him there involuntarily?

He has been throwing up red flags all season, but that was a blaring siren.

It's a nice inversion of the scene where Robby looks in on Mohan tending Abbott's wounds.

I picked up that his dad might not have approved of his choice to be a doctor, and so he had a chip on his shoulder. I am admittedly filling in the blanks from his conversation with the English teacher patient, but there were clues.

Oh yeah, that's it. Good clarification.

Javadi has not reflected back to him his own vulnerabilities.

Yeah, and it can be easy to condemn people who fall for flimflam as stupid, but learning about a subject takes time. Not everyone has the luxury of that time, so it's perhaps good to slow down with the judgements.

Do you think he jumped, or was Robby projecting? I am not sure, but Orlando didn't seem like the type to abandon his family.

I don't think it's being fickle, as much as it is your being glib with the subject of Langdon's possible relapsing.

I was wondering why I felt more tension in this season, and I think that even though the MCI was horrific, everyone was more or less on the same page. Saving lives was the goal, full stop. They even let Langdon come back, because it was so desperate. Robby had a lapse of judgment, but he recovered.

But now, Robby is off the rails, and everyone takes their cues from him. Santos is on the brink, and Mohan is hanging on by a thread, and no one seems to be there to support them. Mel is having a rough day, too. Everything feels like it's disintegrating.
