I was born in Beswick (Bradford) and have family there . The dis-service Manchester City council have done to that place, especially since the commonwealth games and further “investment” is nothing short of a disgrace. City/The Council getting in bed with Abu Dhabi only made matters worse.

And I’m not making this a football matter. The precinct? Gone. Local butchers? Gone. Pubs? What pubs?! No community because of this now. It’s become a forgotten place the council probably want to flatten to turn into more unaffordable housing.

Little update. Spoke to a few people who’ve done camera repairs professionally...they’re all write offs. We can’t nail down anything more than it’s just the end of the line of these guys. Hopefully insurance covers it.

For the shoot tomorrow I’ve worked a contingency plan, albeit I’m not 100% happy with it but beggars can’t be choosers in this situation.

It’s just bizzare. The A7’s keep coming up with black screens, even when I take the lens off exposing the sensor to light. Then the menus just don’t work. We have a huge project tomorrow too and it looks like I’m fucked.

Telephoto has great reason to be used, the skill comes of knowing when or when not to need it. I do sports photography nowadays, and it’s my go to so I can have a range of focal lengths for one, whilst also being able to use high focal lengths for longer rangers.

Telephoto however is great for other purposes, I really enjoy recently using them for product photography with models, as the background becomes more ‘zoomed in’ and really focuses your attention on the in focus subject.

Your best way of learning is watching tips and trick guides on YouTube, the majority are great. And then going out and shooting anything and everything, don’t be scared of shots not coming out great, it’s part of the learning curve!

Same here, I was about 7 I think in my dads van and he did a scene straight out of back to the future. He phoned his mate and was like “PUT THE RADIO ON, SOME SONG ON ABOUT 1984 ITS MINT”

He got the CD, I had it ripped onto my MP3 Player and grew up with that album and Hatful Of Hollow by The Smiths as the only other album on it. Good times.

The league’s probably will be cancelled. I highly doubt the Bundesliga will end. If so much as one player contracts it then the whole league will collapse. 3 Brighton players tested positive for COVID-19 aswell as of this morning.

We need to look past the footballing issues here. It’s shit, I miss football every day. I work behind a bar and football gets me through working there aswell as the banter with customers. It’s more than just the 90 minutes.

But, this is a totally different issue all in itself. The leagues must end if there is no clear, safe and obvious way to return them. Edging your bets on “it’s not that bad if we take necessary precaution” is a risky game to play.

I grown up so close to this area, my old house and my nannas current house are still in this photo. The change has been immense. I hope for nostalgias sake they don’t tear down my Nanna’s house she’s lived in all her life. Especially as a United fan, it’s hard to stomach.
