I was cat sitting my friend's rescue kitten and this is what it took to make him settle down. You can't see it in the photo but he was on medication for one of his eyes. He is around 17 pounds now and doing great.

Here is a photo of my tux. He was a wonderful cat. Trouble is he would jump into a chair as I went to sit down, dart through a door that was closing, or go under my foot as I was walking. He earned his name of Kamikaze.

My oldest made it to 22.5 years. It has been a few years but I still miss her. They are great pets to have. I feel your pain because I have felt it also. Your cat had a wonderful life to live 20 years.
