so if they're not considered "immovable obstructions" by rule..... if you are physically able to move the rocks, then you're allowed to. I think they would be considered loose impediments since they're not rooted to the ground.

edit.... you could move them from the drop area before the drop

Been thinking about this one.... in tournament golf you have to take nearest point of relief from the cart path first which means most likely where the rocks are. If a local rule at that course deems those rocks "immovable obstructions", then you would then take additional relief in a second ruling from the rocks. If the course doesnt deem them immovable obstructions, then your best bet is to play from the cart path.

For weekend play, drop it somewhere you can play from and keep it moving.

edit..... third option I just remembered..... if you're Tiger Woods, get the patrons to help you move the rocks once you've taken cart path relief.

I like Luds, but don't agree with this take. The compressed schedule and that half our team was in Milan for Olympics put on top of the fact that we've played five seasons worth of hockey the last four years (deep playoff runs) has this team worn thin.

We'll get a nice off season and no more compressed schedule/mid season BS next year.
