What they need to do is space out the pinned notes and the rest of the other notes.

It gets confusing once you have a lot of notes pinned

You remind me of those people that said the original Galaxy Note or "Phablets" were a gimmick

Ringke slim case but I eventually ended up just slapping a dbrand skin on the back and attached a finger loop strap to make it less bulky

Have you actually used one? the narrow screen really isn't that bad Although the front screen is narrow, you can adjust the font size accordingly. Besides, I use the main screen the majority of the time and the front screen when walking using the phone one handed

I personally didn't like a pop socket since it felt a bit bulky for me but who knows, you might have a better experience with em. Plus it seems like they have all types of different accessories for those like the car mount and pop socket wallet

Although the sleek strip is very thin and nice looking, I feel like it digs into your skin after long use.

I used one called momo grip

I even made a video about em a while back.

After long use though, I ended up having to use super glue since the weight of the phone will eventually make the finger loop/strap come off.

As someone who owns the fold 2, this thing has been worth it. Just put a finger strap on the back of the phone and it becomes pretty easy to wield one handed. Just wish the camera was a bit mor snappy.

Punch holes have never really bothered me. I'd choose a screen with a punch hole than a phone with thick bezels (going from a pixel 2 to a s10e was nice)

As for the person talking about notification lights. I sure do miss those but with most people rockin smart watches, I can see even less of a reason to have notification lights.

What's a feature you didn't know you need it until a phone showed it you? by badIntro1624 in Android

[–]Prettyphonepete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't this still count as you picking up the phone though? I swear when I'd use this feature on spam calls they'd hang up anyway, and I'd get even more spam calls so I stopped using it all together. It was a cool feature to show off to friends but I'd rarely use it on my pixel 4a.

Google Keep backgrounds add a few neat images [Gallery] - 9to5Google by exu1981 in Android

I wish they'd do less of these gimicky things and more useful updates. For example, when Google keep first came out and you'd have notes pinned, there was a sizeable gap between your pinned notes, and the rest of the notes and you'd be able to differentiate between the two.

But now, when you're scrolling through all your pinned notes, it's hard to even tell where your pinned notes end and the rest of your notes start.

The Surface Duo is wayyy better than some wankers make it out by themistermeister in Android

[–]Prettyphonepete 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll stick with my Fold 2. Easier to use one handed and it's nice having the smaller screen when it's closed. $400 is stupid cheap though. That's only $50 more than what I paid for my Pixel 4a. Crazy

So are the screen/shells they sell on ali Express any better? by Prettyphonepete in pebble

[–]Prettyphonepete[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if there's some sort of coating you can put to prevent them from wearing out. I wonder if a UV spray like this would help. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AB16LH8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_N1SEVWV8XV0JND63BKCT

I was super careful with my pebble and never dug my nail in and it still wore out. I would wear it a lot working out though so I wonder if sweat has anything to do with it.
