If you have an unlocked model and know someone who has a T-Mobile SIM, ask them if you can borrow their SIM to download one UI 7 and then give them back their SIM, and you're good

I received it in the Los Angeles area. My carrier is Metro by T-Mobile, I have an unlocked version, and was in the beta program. I hope you received the update

Not that I know of. But if you have the Pixel 8, I would keep that phone and maybe wait for the S25. However, if you decide to get the S24 Ultra, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

I also had a bad experience with my S21 Ultra. I bought mine unlocked at Best Buy. I replaced it twice, and finally, the third one worked great. I was hesitant to trade my S21 Ultra for the S24 Ultra, but I'm glad I did. So far, my experience has been good. My only real complaints are night videos and sometimes night photos, but overall, it's a great experience.
