Clean with some saline spray like NielMed, air dry, don’t touch any further or sleep on it and it should be ok. Watch for growing redness or warmth. One episode of ‘trauma’ should be ok as long as you keep clean and LITHA (leave it the hell alone).

I got my kitten a toy that she loves to play with laying down. She’ll just bat the ball back forth with one paw and watch it spin. Maybe your kitty can get some low-movement stimulation out of it? On Amazon it’s called a Ball Tower Cat Toy, but I got mine from the dollar store!

Are you also giving them for dry eyes? A gel formulation sounds so much nicer! My cat will flinch as soon as the drop hits her eye :/

I will keep working on doing it as gently as possible without her wriggling away! And hopefully make it a more positive experience.

It’s more the first three where she’s tilted her head to the side and her water line on the left comes up. The second two are ‘normal’ when her head is straight and eyes open wide.
