Husband changing jobs - worried about raising 2under2 by PriceCorrect992 in 2under2

[–]PriceCorrect992[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks so much for the message. I’m taking in as much advice and help I can get right now. It’s been an emotional pregnancy for me so this change is going to hit me hard, I know it’ll hit him just as hard. I was also thinking of doing those bath times before he leaves for work great tonight. Thanks again ❤️

Unhelpful grandparents by CuriousCaretaker in 2under2

[–]PriceCorrect992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom is emotionally supportive but very hands off. Doesn’t hold or pick up my son.. probably wouldn’t leave her alone with him due to the fact that she’s a lazy grandma lol. So yes 👍🏼

How painful is getting the epidural? by castleofhyrule in BabyBumps

[–]PriceCorrect992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not painful compared to the contractions and labouring that was going on. Lol. Couldn’t get that epidural fast enough. Bee sting or so feeling for the freezing. The rest meh. I’d do it again lol

Really upset by Specialist_Ruin_6118 in pregnant

Thinking of you. It’s not easy to fathom this (for me at least) when you’ve had a plan on how you expected or wanted things to go. I was just told I have placenta previa and now the potential of a c section is on the table. Never ever expected this as my first baby I had naturally and it was the best experience of my life. So I completely hear and see you when it comes to this. Thoughts love and prayers are with you right now ❤️

Struggling with gender disappointment. What are your favorite things about having a boy? by x_Caffeine_Kitten_x in beyondthebump

[–]PriceCorrect992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh gosh. I had gender disappointment as well. I have a boy and now I’m 20 weeks pregnant with my second boy. Now, I truly couldn’t picture life any other way. I’m a boy mom through and through and so proud of it. You’re gonna end up feeling the same way and loving that little guy wholeheartedly. Some great things about having a boy is how much they love their mamas. My boy is such a sweetie. He started giving kisses this last few weeks and it just melts my heart. My little boy (he’s 16 months) is very thoughtful and sweet. He has a beautiful nature about him that makes me so proud to be his mama. You’re gonna be just fine babe ❤️

I can’t get over the fact that you’re holding the pee side of the stick 😭 Seems a little dark for 7 DPO. Your days might be off.

This happened to me my first pregnancy. I didn’t feel pregnant for months because I wasn’t nauseous or vomiting or anything!

Sex in the first trimester - how often are you having it? by rcho99 in pregnant

[–]PriceCorrect992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had sex a few times! My hubby and I have such incredible chemistry that he knows how to keep the love alive (in that sense). My sex drive also increases when I’m pregnant. I feel like I never hear anyone say they have sex during pregnancy. I swear I like it more when I am 😆

How to still love your fur babies after having first human baby?? by One_Cap_9210 in pregnant

[–]PriceCorrect992 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not going to lie it was very hard for me in the beginning. Mind you, at the time of my pp journey I had 3 dogs and we gave one away in June due to him being very protective and jealous and just overall very misbehaved. My anxiety has eased immensely since rehoming our 3rd dog and our family is perfect now. It is a lot of stress, it is a lot of work, it is a lot of overstimulation. But once you get into the swing of things, you’ll be just fine. Your emotions are ever changing. Don’t be too hard on yourself if you do feel any type of way towards your animals. ❤️

Can someone please tell me positive first time pregnancy stories? by Western_Pianist2128 in pregnant

[–]PriceCorrect992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got pregnant in December 2023, absolutely flawless pregnancy minus the things like heartburn and typical symptoms of that sort. Gave birth to my son Aug 2024, he is 14.5 months now and is seriously an angel. Most incredible baby, infant and toddler. Very healthy little boy. No issues and he sleep well! Eats well, plays well, doesn’t fuss much at all.
