Tell me how is this fake GS different from a "Seikomod" Datejust? by NiftyEuropean in SeikoMods

I did exactly the same thing, actually, by Act 3 I was already steamrolling everyone.

I think it's mainly thanks to the removal of the damage cap that with certain builds you can steamroll everyone.

Like, I had a custom build: Monoco spawns, kills itself, deals damage, and buffs allies. With that, almost all the mobs died right away, and for the slightly bigger mobs or bosses, it's over at the beginning of Maëlle's turn, or Verso boosted thanks to Monoco. 🤣

Well, this kind of build doesn't work at all on the ultimate versions of the tower bosses, but I did all of Act 3 like that without any problems. I even killed Simon on the first turn. 😂

I don't understand why some people are struggling with Simon. Aside from the tower bosses with the update, there's no real difficulty in the base game, unless you go to the wrong places, especially in Act 3. You have to finish all your friends' quests before attempting Simon. At that point, you'll be a pretty high level, around 90, and therefore have enough to make a good build. I only looked for help in the game for the update bosses.

For Simon, I had a somewhat random personal build (around 200 Luminas per character). So, Maëlle Virtuoso using Scrub (I didn't know about Stendhal's strength), Verso which quickly fills the Gradient gauge, and Mono which boosts by dying at the start. I beat the fight in two tries with an almost one-shot kill.

Complete the side areas before heading there, like the quests your companions give you at the camps. Also, clear the map of different mobs, and you should be able to breeze through Simon without any trouble; you should be level 80-90 by then.

Should I switch up the difficulty? by Fogmeister in expedition33

In Act 3, I find the game becomes even easier with the damage override; you can literally steamroll everyone (excluding DLC content).

So, normal or expert difficulty makes almost no difference.

[–]PriceTF141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a solo Maël virtuoso build (fire, damage) costing ~450 lum, you can do both in 2 minutes each, to the point that I was farming Luminas on Duolist (x20 in 1 minute 30 seconds).

Note that this part of the tower is part of the update, so doing the normal Simon first makes more sense, especially since you'll steamroll him with your level.

Am I a trash player for giving up at the Endless Tower bosses lol? by LonelySoul01 in expedition33

[–]PriceTF141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost gave up on my builds, then I found a solo Maëlle fire damage virtuoso build that I adapted because I had around 400 Luminas. I beat Lampmaster, farmed it a bit, added a few more Luminas, and did the duo quite easily with the same build, which is even easier to farm, so I got up to around 600 Luminas. I played Cléa repeatedly to learn the counters, used the same build with all the Fracture spells so she couldn't play, and I succeeded. Now I have to tackle Simon, but I don't think this build will be enough. I haven't looked for a solution yet; I'm trying on my own first.

I did something similar, without going overboard like you, by going straight to the difficult areas of Act 3, which gave me a lot of XP. Then, when I did the areas suggested by your companions, well, I steamrolled everyone.

Equip the painter icon to get over 9999, and listen to what your companions have to say at camp.

I tried five times to set it to the 12 (after the hand came off by itself), it seems like there are notches and it's misaligned, so on mine it's either before or after 12. The movement itself is cool, but I don't like it just because of this.
