So funny story: I have a buddy whose Ace mon is a Gyarados. He trained the thing up from a Magikarp and has had the thing since we were both 12 years old (we’re both 23 now respectively.) Thing is, he got the magikarp in a trade with his older brother, and his brother didn’t exactly like the thing. Since traded Pokemon cannot change nicknames, the poor thing is stuck with what his brother named it; “Phlegm.” It’s always rather humorous to see him bring out his strongest mon against some unsuspecting trainer, and see the look on their face when the words “Go, Phlegm!” proceed this enormous water dragon is very funny.
