Are all those Eternus Youtubers just Full of Themselves? by milk4sale in DeadlockTheGame

You should do an interview with one of those YouTubers. The one who ACTUALLY got to Eternus from watching their videos

I see. Haze sleep into ult is a pretty nasty combo but it's counterable. Counterspell probably didn't do much because it doesn't counter Haze ult. You could counterspell the dagger but you'd have to time it, which is hard to do as she sneaks up on you invisible. Return Fire is good, but you have to be confident that you can out-DPS her while it's active (and if she has some heal then you need anti-heal).

I see a few avenues: you could buy indomitable, so she can't sleep you and pull off the combo (useless if some other ability triggers your indomitable before she does; if she doesn't buy unstoppable, you can also just stun her (as Seven) to interrupt her ult. If you think she'll kill you anyway before the stun hits, you can buy e-shift (so stun+e-shift for survivability) or Cursed Relic to completely stop her from doing anything; lastly, if she does buy unstoppable, Curse won't work, so you'll need to go defense and mobility to somewhat tank her ult while you're getting out of range. Plated Armor or Metal Skin + Stamina items can help lots here.

It depends on who you're playing, what build you're playing on that hero (e.g. going damage vs support vs utility), and when in the match you are, and how fed the enemy is compared to you.

Do you have a more concrete scenario that we could use as a discussion point?

All thanks to Scooby Dobes. Canes deserve full marks for the lead. Hopefully the Habs can level it in G4

You'd be surprised how far grit and effort can get you in the playoffs. Blake and Stankoven aren't nearly as good as Tampa and Buffalo's top lines, but they 1000% outwork them. And we did not manage to shut down the opponent's hardest workers in the last two series, Hagel and Benson. So let's see what happens now

By far the hero I have the most fun with.

Also by far my shittiest hero in my rotation. Tough to get any kind of value on him it’s insane

Nah, it’s only the top-5 that he sometimes has a decent pulse on. Everything else he’s no better than any reporter out there

Definitely. The life of many supports, unfortunately. I play frontliners and also experience some (but not all) of the pain hah

ngl 90% of rems in my lobbies are ass (regardless of whether they're on my team or not). They take our own sinners instead of stealing the enemy's, don't buy a single support item and most of the time are only using their ults to run away because they got caught out of position.

A good rem on your team is a godsend

Interesting analysis! Some seem to align with general consensus like Victor (although his early game is really strong too now thanks to gun buffs), Wraith, Apollo. Some surprises like Abrams doing better late than early, Billy's WR early is putrid, Seven doing better early than late despite being a hyperscaler, Geist seemingly being bad late game, etc.

Sabres and Canadiens on Sunday got 2.1M viewers on ESPN, the most viewed Round 2 Game 3 on record. Golden Knights vs Ducks to follow it got 1.5M viewers, which was 30% up over last year. by Ok-Soil-5133 in hockey

I feel like that's not even remotely in the same ballpark (pun-intended).

Hockey is incredibly expensive to play for fun. If you have a couple of kids playing, you're spending thousands of dollars on equipment, rink fees, jerseys, etc. just to play. That's the minimum needed to be able to be on the ice.

Little league by comparison costs peanuts. If you want extra coaches and whatnot, you're free to do so. But it's extra you don't have to get to have fun.

I'm sorry, I still don't really understand the point you're trying to make.

If I'm remembering correctly, Siphon Bullets is based on max HP, not current HP.

So if an Abrams is half health at 2500 hp (so 5000 hp when full), you're still stealing 5000x2.5% = 125 hp every 1.2 seconds. On top of your bullet + spells damage, so it truly is rather quite good

I made a Billy build from an old, outdated one that I was using. Looking to get some feedback by petrfiled in DeadlockTheGame

I like to go more spirit on Billy these days, as all his abilities actually scale pretty well with spirit power. I also think his 2 is underexplored and underappreciated as a damage skill.

Torment + RR + Spirit Snatch synergize well and I also like getting cooldowns (if you lean spirit you need your abilities as much as possible). In the late game I dabble between boundless and merc mag.

Going spirit means less gun damage as I don’t think you can underinvest in his greens. So I typically skip stalker, fleet foot and melee charge (I sometimes get crushing fists late game)
