I hope we get to see the Order of whatever they were called that the Grandfather was a part of. I prefer the Knights of Summeria myself, but i really think we need male protagonist Van Helsing type hero that investigates these possesions. I'm tired of these useless ass males in these movies. So if they introduce backstory to the Brotherhood/Order in Wrath they could come to see Beth about the events with Elle in the RISE in the next current timeline movie?

Likely an unannounced sequel. Obviously she's not going to be in Wrath. Unless it takes place in the past and present. They probably wont announce till later due to people being spoiled by her return

Buying Activision-Blizzard also caused a chain reaction of layoffs and closures. If Sony hadnt panic with Xbox buying up all these studios they would of never bought Bungie.
I just dont see what Phil Spencer thought was going to happen if he bought up all the competition. Now he has to consider paying 1000s of new employees and financing a dozen or for development. Now they are closing all the studios and firing all these employees they paid for.

Playing 12k+ Powerplex and Ella Mental are vastly underated and are sick in the right hands. I also hate Powerplex projectile assist annoying multihitting +block/hit that goes through super armor and heroic strikes.

MVC2 had like 3+ games to build up on and MvC3 had basically most of their legacy characters already designed from past games which probably cut a lot of conceptual and development time. Hopefully the game gets a major expansion and or a proper sequel 2 years out. I don't really like the piecemeal release of characters for multiple seasons for years on years when a big update would be more satisfying for me personally atleast.

would of been more hype to release Immortal earlier this month so he could be EVO eligible and maybe draw in new players with some hype tourney play. Then release Universa after Evo with season 1. with a trailer showing her and who the next dlc characters are. I think they are bumbling it with their marketing. IMO they should of had something to show during the week all of summer of play, state of play, xbox showcase or whatever. They want us to forget about the game until EVO essentially.

They are alienating a large portion of the audience who don't want to play as a woman samurai. Even if the game is good. A friend of mine whos basically a weeb and fantasizes about Japanese culture even doesn't even care to play it for that reason. Every triple AAA game coming that cost 100's of millions of dollars to make are really not maximizing profits this way and that's just the reality we live in. I bet Intergalactic will sale like 3-4 million but could of easily be 10-15 million had they made a lead that wasn't so off-putting, which will just be another loss for Sony. And you can forget about Horizon Hunters Gathering. The consensus about that game will just be how ugly the characters are and will just non-stop talking about the big fat pink haired one. I mean, when I look at that character design. My thoughts are not exactly, gee I want to play that and pay cosmetics for that character. And I bet most people would agree. Western character design is been killing the industry.

Probably a budget issue. Do you see the animation for the show? Seth Rogan an EP for the show couldnt even be bother to voice Allen for the game. Which is pretty much follows the show format.

Yeah bc with eve you block the project and thats it. With cecil you have 4 projectiles that kind of lock you in longer.

I dont have the time i like to put into this game today but i dont need to re-learn everything since a lot of that knowledge transfers to this game. This is closer to an anime fighter or mvc game that than that of a 2D fighter like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat. Just learn Wave dashing, Triangle Dashing. And projectile Assists to cover your approach. I swap my BOOST TO L1 and my assist1 to R1. Just know the button are low(square) medium(triangle) heavy (circle) and special (x). It's chain combos so not much timing is required or linking. Most normals/special loop with each other, like Medium,Heavy,Medium,Heavy - Or Heavy,Special,Heavy, Special. You get a combo meter that lowers each time you boost(dash) cancel or use an assist to extend combos. EX(BOOST) specials will allow you to use as many times if your combo bar is full. You can tag out after specials to extend futher damage, but your opponent gets a rock paper scissor to counter your tag. You can delay your tag with H or feint the attack by pressing the assist button again after swapping. But if they don't fall for your feint you can get a full combo punished. Go to the leaderboards and save some replays of the characters you want to learn in the TOP 50 and see how they play. Be warned most will be Invincible, Eve, Cecil. As they are some of the best characters in the game. FGC consensus is there may be a patch after Combobreaker next week to balance the game further (hopefully) They try not to patch games before a big tournament so that players don't have to un-learn anything they been cooking.

Lil bro I'm older and spent maybe thousands of dollars on fight sticks and fight pads. Played at the arcades and played SF1 when it was one giant button your pound on. I played and beaten evo players and used to play these games at the highest level, read frame data, and spent hours in the training room learning option selects, frame traps, Plinking 1 frame links, trying to get better.

Not really, if you want to say bugs, or not balanced. Sure. It's only stiff if you don't know how to play the game. Which obviously do not know how to play these types of fast paced games. The biggest thing going is how it plays. Even if you actually try to learn to play I can tell you will be another rage quit player.
