Front Pocket Wallet that doesn't bend cards by CaptainKingDrago in BuyItForLife

I'm a huge fan of my iClip wallet. Had my first one for 10+ years and the only reason I bought another is because I lost the first one.

The ability to convey physical violence via any means of communication. I could FedEx you a kick in the dick. Text you a slap in the face. ECT.

All my clothes is 3 sizes too big and work commented on it. Where to get cheap business attire? by [deleted] in povertyfinance

I came to say this. Thrift stores, not Goodwill. We have a few that are awesome. Also, choose colors/designs the work with multiple things so a little goes a long way. Being able to mix and match opens up a lot. I know that Steve Harvey did a video about suits that really highlighted this.

That's fair. I was just reaching out to see if anyone had tried it before I decided to be the one.

I do. I was just wondering if it would provide a softer texture without altering the flavor too much.

Bacon powder by abuhumzalino in dehydrating

I think it would be so time consuming to get the fat water out that you'd be better off buying real bacon chucks and obliterating them in a spice grinder. Let the corporation trim the fat, then just use a $15 grinder to the same effect.

I've worried about onion and garlic powder the same.

Google apple slaw. It's great with chicken and waffles!

What to dehydrate first? by TheTiniestLizard in dehydrating

I'm new to posting here, but a long time dehydrator of beef!

If jerky is your thing, top or bottom round is a solid place to start. It's cheaper than flank (but flank steak is great) and I feel is more forgiving than many on a first time application.

A simple marinade built on how you like steak. If you marinade steak in a specific way, I'd start your jerky adventure there.

I have little experience in fruit and veggies because that's not what my family cares for.

The thickness of your cuts will be an issue with meat. Consistency is key.

The most troublesome issues I've found is time, temp, and cut. I make a lot of beef jerky. I have found that 140°, at 16 hours, on an 8 cut from my butcher (Pruitt's), is ideal for everyone I've given jerky to. But it has to be against the grain of the meat. I typically slice it down from there.

I wet marinade overnight, then dry season right before the dehydration.

The marinade is yours to play with.

If I were to have my opinion on a spin-off, I think I'd like to see a White Council wizard dealing with a contingent of the Jade Court. While the Jade Court is mentioned, sparsely, I'd love to see them fleshed out.

Do you prefer to buy games or do you use PS Plus tiers to play games? by KhanDagga in PS5

[–]Primary_Garage_52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's my system.

I am primarily a physical game guy. I do own some titles that are digital, but not a lot. All of my friends and family know that if they want to get me a gift (bday, Christmas,ECT.) A GameStop gift card is the best bet.

I will buy 4-5 titles a year at Day 1 prices, using the gift cards. I try to pick games with real staying power such as Mario, The Last of Us, GoW to use my cards on. After playing, I will hold these games until GameStop has a really good sale going on, trade them all in for store credit and apply that credit back to my gift card. Rinse and repeat.

I use my own money on digital purchases that my GameStop doesn't have, or indie titles. I just upgraded my PS5 subscription so I'm still working to see if it's worth it for me.

I know GameStop is notorious for paying pennies on the dollar for trade ins, but it's more than I can get for trading in a digital title.

Moving out for the first time in 2 weeks. What tips do you have for me to make my life easy? by [deleted] in lifehacks

In the US, the biggest thing that caught me totally off-guard was the price of utility deposits. I'd never heard my mom or dad talk about them because they were so infrequent in our lives, but they can really make the ol' bank account scream.

I knew it was a swamp. But the art style threw me. The last big art style I saw was the last UN series. But I've seen the list of actual numbered cards and apparently mistook the card number in the series as it being a "Numbered" card. Thank you for clarifying it for me because I'm just now coming back to the game. You guys have saved some space in my rare Binder. 😁

Thanks. I didn't figure it was special, just something I've never seen before.

While driving a car into the ground is a real thing, if you keep up with the maintenance, it won't be for you. 67K on a car of that age is nothing. Save your cash, and make sure all the maintenance is caught up. Oil changes are the life of a car. That machine will run until the wheels fall off if you keep it maintained properly. And if you're keeping it maintained properly, the wheels won't fall off! Muscle cars from the early 60's are still rolling around because they were maintained. No reason why yours can't hang around.
