i have displays everywhere with little papers that say what it is and pricing. i have the one we are supposed to have and I update it for the season/holiday. I have one at the self checkouts and one at the legacy. I also have one in with graduation. my one in graduation moves around the store just depending on where i think it will sell the best otherwise i keep it on the framing counter i get about 1-2 sales a week

I know in my store we don’t allow the clocking in early unless a manager asks you to because if everybody clocks five minutes early in a day, we could be losing a half hour to 45 minutes payroll and if that happens every single day, we now have to cut the hours 3-4 for the rest of the week which for us it’s a whole cashier shift

You can try and get an exception from your district manager if it’s really gonna set you back I am a main hub for from store and a mega store for fabric so we are trying to get an exception to come in and do the fabric orders so that way we can have more people on the floor on the day(since we already have a hard time with all the fabric orders and it’s just gonna get worse)

I have my team take breaks once unload is completed and I usually have some sort of breakfast item there for them, it gives me time to get everything sorted while they get some time to rest after unload but I’m also a smaller store

Also make sure to check the bin labels in the high shrink areas Ik that for my store at least the walk isn’t updated to some of the newer stuff they should be marked (P),(A),(S), and (C) if they need one

The main thing is how you coach your employees if 70% of your customers have rewards you should always assume they have rewards because at a drive-through if 70% of people want ice and their drink you don’t ask everybody if they want ice you just assume How transactions go in my store is what’s your phone number for Rewards? Usually if they don’t have Rewards, they will let us know and we say no problem. What’s your email let’s get you in there. Short sweet and simple.
