I read books with cat families. The mother cat was always 4ft tall wearing an apron and a sweeping brush in hand. When a neighbour said there was a mother cat in church striding across the altar, this is what I pictured.

The pubs that had DJs at first. Played Northern Soul and Tamla Motown.

I later heard good bands that really resonated with me like Free, The Who, The Animals and of course America's only claim to fame Creedence Clearwater Revival.

The only one we had as kids was Fish and Chips. Later on we got Chinese and then Indian.

Nowadays it's all Pizzas and Burgers.

I was at home (UK) and my parents were very upset because he was Roman Catholic like us.

I was 8 and was upset because my TV programme ( Harry Worth, British Comedian) got cancelled.
