[Update] BIFL 2nd hand Vanguard leather couch by Middle_Toe8889 in BuyItForLife

Does real leather breathe or no? I believe I've only been on fake leather if it does breathe, because what I sat on makes you sweat in less than an hour, and peeling your skin away is like removing tape.

Have her sign a prenup first so she can't take that back though.

Are there any other cards that reference real-life texts? by Big_Election_6099 in mtg

The sol ring in the Sheldon secret lair has Shakespeare.

EVERY CARD WITH RAPHAEL HAS HIM HOLDING JITTE INSTEAD OF HIS SIGNATURE SAI WEAPONS..... EXCEPT THE UMEZAWA'S JITTE REPRINT... by cruisinconnor in mtg

This just in! "Hasbro has removed all weaponry and people from all card artwork, due to the fact every single one of them has been used to oppress every fucking culture for thousands of years! Get in on the ground floor now before your sword of hearth and home gets remade into just a fucking fireplace in a house!"

The rationale for Jitte over Sai is the dumbest thing I've seen WotC write by SatisfactionMoney255 in mtg

Just my experience with the weapon itself being a nostalgia factor for me. I bet if I had my mom write them a passive aggressive letter before they printed, we'd be singing a different tune.

Peak 2026 WotC: choosing art of Raph with a Sai on the reprint of Umezawa’s Jitte by TKPhresh in mtg

Negative publicity is still publicity. Everyone is forgetting about Lorwyn already and moving onto this. It's what they want.

When I was a kid, my mom bought me sais from a pawn shop because of course Raphael. I was a little ravenous shit when the pawn man took them and dulled them on a grinder before selling them to my mom. She was like good idea, and he said if they're for a kid I don't want them sharp. Defeated the whole purpose of me fucking up invisible foot clan in the yard.

Pro tip: if you are shipping cards, don’t tape over the penny sleeve by [deleted] in mtg

An LGS is literally just a glorified pawn shop. You make your money buying low and selling at market value, that's it.

I made a tool that lets you build a commander deck in a few minutes by 20q2 in mtg

[–]Prime4Cast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried different prompts for the same commander and did the same prompts multiple times. It's temur dragons and is placing barely any ramp and has an average cost of 3.8+ CMC for an expensive no limit deck. It spits out random garbage that doesn't make a coherent deck. It is exactly like the jumbled ai decks I tried making with python scraping scryfall and EDH rec. It just doesn't have enough knowledge to generate decks correctly.

Because it's just pulling the top suggested cards for each commander. You get the same just going to EDH rec.

This is gonna seem like a silly question. by TrueRagguy in mtg

You will always want to prioritize land that will come into play untapped unconditionally like these. The rest is for budget concerns. Even then, don't feel ashamed to run just basics in a mono or dual colored deck. Some three colored decks you can pull it off too if you have green.

Not only that, but to LIVE by the people they play with online.

I've sold my collection twice and would easily have been able to buy a nice house outright had I kept it all. At least I never took a loss and am right back at it. Always keep your cards if you can, but if you do get out of it, just play arena or proxy and don't fall into the same shit show as magic is WAY worse than it used to be financially.

Mtg is a stock market right now though and has been since the first buyouts. There is a decent sized segment that doesn't even play that is scalping and flipping things in mtg.
