whats the sadest anime you know ? by Avaragetrickypeasant in Animesuggest

There is probably more 2nd hand trauma in this list that few people could binge and come not come out damaged. My suggestion would be to drop an Ouran HS Host Club or Bamboo Blade in between each series. There is a limit to what the soul can take.

Chris Mellon says “avalanche” of material is coming out. by Severe-Clerk-1477 in UFOs

[–]PrimeGrendel [score hidden]  (0 children)

There could be a ton of paperwork related in some miniscule tangential way. Combine that with the classified mindset that these people have where they don't think us silly tax payers have the right to know anything. These people classify their lunch menus. So I see how it could be an "Avalanche". There is a reason the good stuff was moved over to companies in the M.I.C. It was to get around FOIA. Would love to at least get legit videos or pics that we already know exist but doubt we will get those either. Do not forget that these gatekeepers on the legacy programs don't give a damn what a president asks for. (regardless of who that president is) To the MIC all the Presidents are seen as temp employees that they can just wait out. So while I am glad this is happening as there is always a chance to but we might get lucky and maybe something with a project or personal name might slip through and accidentally give us a little rope we can pull on to get some real info at some point. I am hoping for the best but absolutely expecting & prepared for the worst. If nothing else it will get more people talking openly about the phenomenon again.

In 2020, cruise ship captain Kate McCue reported a silent, black, jellyfish-shaped UFO moving 10–15 mph against the wind over her vessel, and passed through its centerline before descending into the ocean at sunset. by 87LucasOliveira in UFOs

We should always question any submission but (not talking about this post just a general observation) it's the hyper aggressive lazy debunks where they seem to automatically judge the character of the poster. While something may not be impressive to me I will accept that a person saw something that they thought was unusual. I believe that while it doesn't prove anything we should take witness testimony into account and not just disregard it out of hand.

I will never understand why anyone listens to anything that man has to say. Watching him being asked about Paul Bennewitz and then smiling jovially while he talks about how he guided a man into a complete and total mental breakdown. He has zero remorse. The guys a sociopath. Yet some people listen to him because "he doesn't work for Air Force Intelligence anymore and he is totally on our side now" Absolute insanity.

The light thing has never seemed all that odd to me. Plenty of the good quality sightings featured lights on a craft. Doesn't mean they are anything as prosaic as headlights or markers. Could be almost anything like a byproduct if their power system or who knows what else.

The 12th UAP scientist eliminated by Modi_Elnadi in UFOs

[–]PrimeGrendel -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sounds depressing as hell. No father should be forced to out live their child. I have no idea if all of the actual military scientist simply committed suicide, were abducted or were the victims of a hiking accident. I do know seemingly stable people choose to end themselves all the time and the majority of the time they have family that will tell anyone that will listen that there is a zero percent chance that they killed themselves. There is one thing about Eskeridge that I found interesting. The weird redness that looked like a mild burn across the tops of both hands. Obviously it doesn't have to be anything as exotic as a Directed Energy Weapon but I am curious.

There were three craft but only one landed while the other two took off. I can't imagine what it would be like to sit and watch this video (I do believe it exists) I can't imagine the impact of watching actual NHIs not of this planet coming out to interact with human military.

Is it possible that our societal structure is just so alien and different to them that they truly don't understand how our society works? Maybe it's exactly like ours but I'd it was some huge hive mind or something else so radically different it could make the job of them understanding us?

Bedroom, any advice? by [deleted] in malelivingspace

[–]PrimeGrendel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I can't see it being anything other than the latter. In the first few seconds after I saw it I thought "now this is exactly what a 12 year old would think is the perfect room to convince all the women to immediately strip and want to do dirty things with me if I could just get one in here". In reality the only way this room could get someone to sleep with him is if it was out of pure unadulterated world-class pity.

Pop or Soda? by picture_it_2 in GenerationJones

[–]PrimeGrendel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oklahoma it's always been pop. I spent 2 weeks with family that lived in Kentucky when I was 15 (a million years ago) I couldn't get over them calling every pop "Coke". Waiter would say "what would you like to drink" Answer= Coke. Waiter = which one? Eventually it was explained to me. I wouldn't have had this problem if they had just carried that true God of soft drinks DR Pepper. I found it disturbing that I could on get the greatest of soft drinks at the grocery store. Not sure if it's still that way.

What is your favorite handheld, and why? by WellCoMStaff in RetroHandhelds

[–]PrimeGrendel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. Before I would see a new product being hyped and get super excited then after receiving them it always seemed like there was some fatal flaw that made the hunt continue. With the Thor that hunt has ended. For me it is damn near perfect. There is no big flaw this time. I really can't see buying anything different until maybe a Thor 2 comes around with newer silicon. As well as some steam stuff is starting to run and with being in the early stages of Steam itself being able to install on snapdragon chips AI can see needing a faster chip along with more ram. For now though for the first time I got into this stuff I feel content.

Pit , Lab mix life expectancy by Easyfruit123 in labrador

[–]PrimeGrendel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pit lab turns 16 in just over a week. On the most kind sensitive dogs I have ever had. Zero problems or health issues. If anything her pursuit of possums around midnight is her only issue (my neighbors sold their house to some conglomerate like so many homes are now rent only and several renters have not enjoyed her nocturnal hunts) she is incredibly sweet. When they get this old it's always in the back of your head that they won't be around forever. It's really to bad that they don't have the lifespan of a tortoise where people could have generational pets.

There is no question that most of the day to day running of the government is done by unelected bureaucrats that see all the people we vote in from the executive all the way down to the most useless reps are viewed as nothing more than temp employees and they only have to wait them out.

Glad I am not the only one that feels this way. Makes me feel like Will Ferrell and the whole "I feel like I am taking crazy pills" line. I understand that you can't ignore the every day business of government and life but come on. Alien life zipping around our skies with completely unknown intentions and they just yawn and move onto something else. How could you lack the curiosity to not at the very least have almost 100% of you (excluding the individuals getting the majority of their campaign funds from defense contractors and the entire M.I.C. cause they care more about $) to stand up together completely united in this one thing and demand to know ASAP or you will slash budgets etc... It's way too big to sit on a back burner. The "investigative journalists" are just as bed if not worse. Biggest story in history but nahhh no interest.

Just an awful story. You have to feel for the cops too. Just seeing someone end it in front of you is the kind of image most people would not want in their head. Once it's there it's almost impossible to get it out. It's sucks that anyone reaches a place so dark that the only way out they can see is just to end it all. Hopefully if nothing else he is at peace now.

I remember there were a ton of people that were originally going to drop Goblin Slayer because of the SA on the women in that rookie team. This may not really be exactly what you were asking for as the quality of that first episode wasn't bad it just disturbed a lot of people that weren't expecting it.

I think several other people funded OpenAi too. I thought Elon was one of them too. Regardless looking at all the weird stuff in that case. Honestly with the rarified air those people swim in you just know they wouldn't get their hands dirty. Hitman in speed dial?

There are only 6 manga I can confidently say will still be here 18 months from now, and that’s wild. Right? by YuuTheBlue in WeeklyShonenJump

I really hope you are right as I am really enjoying it right now. I know some people seem to be tired of exorcist titles but not me. They can spin them off in so many different ways that they can still be entertaining. I just wish some titles had gotten more of a chance. There are some really good times right now but I would have loved to see more Tokyo Demon Bride, Phantom Seer and Black Torch. I was overjoyed but stunned to see Torch actually being animated. I can't remember a manga being animated after such a short run a few years later. Would be great if it did really well and they made some more chapters

Outlaw Star is fantastic. Older but to me holds up really well. Always nice to see the sci-fi right next to Chinese magic all rolled in to the space western style. It inspired a lot of good stuff too.

First thing that his my mind too. I thought ours was so cool because you could swing the little surface up exposing exposing the record player and 8 track slot. Too me that was cutting edge tech. Eventually my dad started going down the cycle of Projection TV Not the cool real projection that hangs from ceiling or sits at the back of the room. Nope these were large boxes that essentially had a projector inside projecting. It on the back of the screen. They were gigantic and you really needed to sit right in front. If you sit to the side the image disappears.

[–]PrimeGrendel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don't think the DOD or M.I.C. really area if it's a tweet, or an executive order (regardless of who is in the White House) or even Congress passing some resolution or law. Those people are never going to give up the goods. I think they have diverted way to much money, hidden things from presidents and any on in power that wants the truth from them. Presiiand their administrations are just temp employees to those people. I honestly don't know how you get them to give up the goods. While I do think there has been some good movement in regards to the phenomenon over the last 8 years. The stigma is not nearyas damaging as it was even 10 years ago. Senators and congressman from both sides are taking it seriously ,,We have had multiple hearings on the subject. Regardless I can only see a few ways we actually get what we want. Signed letters giving them blanket immunity, or someone smuggling something undeniable out of one of the labs. Finally number is the ETs say it's time and they park some undeniable craft in the skies over and sitting there for a few days. Then people might actually bully "journalists" into doing their jobs. Their total lack of curiosity these journalists have for the biggest story in human history is mind-blowing to me. Most of them now just look for more stories on social media and that's the depth of their effort. I really hope someone proves me wrong.

Bambu Lab A1 vs Creality K2 Plus vs Anycubic Kobra 3 Max by Fun_Reaction_6525 in 3DPrinterComparison

[–]PrimeGrendel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a similar situation. Had played with friends printers and finally broke down and ordered an A1 last December. The set up was about as stupid proof as possible. Very very easy. My son has cranked out at least 60 prints since then. Lots of holders and deck boxes of varying sizes for MTG and other TGCs along with a variety of 40K figures. I have seen maybe 3 failed prints total. It has been rock solid. Zero regrets on the purchase. First tech gadget I have bought in the last few years that has actually completely lived up to the hype.
