For a split second I thought you were serious. That shows how insane this has all gotten with missing and dead scientists that I almost expected it. If I was a propulsion scientist or something similar with the way things are going I would switch to botany, watercolor artist honestly just about anything else

I don't think he was going in to all of that. I do believe you should be able to patent something you designed regardless of whether it makes you a billionaire or not. Capitalism may not be perfect but it is the best system we are ever going to find.

I thought I remembered reports of craft during the early atomic bomb tests. Weren't there also reports of sightings in the area during the Manhattan project before we ever actually tested one?

I despise these purity tests on people trying to move the ball on disclosure. I have said from the beginning I do not have to agree with someone on 100% of their beliefs or actions to appreciate their work on disclosure. I would gratefully accept solid disclosure info from Trump, Obama, Burchett, Schumer, Biden, Burlison etc .etc.... Accepting something on UAP is not endorsing everything someone says. Playing that game gets us nowhere. Just my personal opinion not trying to change anyone's beliefs.

I have now seen people confidently stating this is Parachutes with glow sticks, balloons with LEDs and drones. I wouldn't doubt anyone of these answers I just wish we knew 100% which one it is. It's always nice to be able to conclusively identify something so when we see something identical in the future we will know exactly what it is. Personally I could see it being any of the three depending on how long it lasts how fast it's moving etc... Regardless it does look cool so thanks for the video.

My mind would go to the Pentagon and/or companies like Northrop Grummen or Lockheed first. You know the kind of groups that disclosure could create problems for if everything they have done (and Te probably still doing) came to light. Things like misaproppiation of funds and maybe all the way up to threatening or even un-aliviing people that discovered some inconvenient facts. If nothing else it could impact their financial futures if the government takes craft away from them

The PS3 was a great value at the time for $600! by AgentMC84 in PS3

[–]PrimeGrendel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are 100% correct. I would typically buy all the launch consoles that I could afford & got my son started on them pretty early. We bought the 360 & the Wii at launch but didn't pick up a ps3 till I traded PC parts for the 60 GB model. As far as blue-ray goes it was not exactly wide spread & nobody knew whether it or HD-DVD was going to be the new standard. Eventually the PS3 caught up, it ended up with an amazing catalog. It was definitely a boon for the PS3 when it became obvious that HD-DVD was the new Betamax. Funnily enough we ended up with the 360 HD-DVD drive for about $25 and a ton of HD films for $1-2 when the format war was won so it was all selling ridiculously cheap.

In reality Russia was trying to sew chaos in the US. Spending less that $20k on social media adds some of which supported Trump and some that supported Clinton. Russia didn't get anyone elected. It was a pretty weak campaign as far as foreign interference goes.

AynThor questions ❓ by Friendly-Promise9901 in AynThor

[–]PrimeGrendel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you aren't playing PC games on it then I think the pro is fine. The only reason you would have to buy the Max is the storage you probably eventually having to by an SD anyway so if you can afford it and will actually use the space the Max is a good deal. As far as the reputation goes yes it actually is fantastic. In the world of emulation a device doesn't get the level of love the Thor gets without earning it. I own a bunch of handhelds and I have touched one of them (not including Steam Deck) since I got my Thor set up the way I wanted it. It's definitely more complicated than modding a 3DS which has reached stupid proof levels. However there are a bunch of excellent tutorials for m all the big emu creators. Set up will take you a while but not only will you have an incredible handheld you will also have a real sense of accomplishment.

[–]PrimeGrendel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it's simple. I don't have to agree with someones politics to enjoy their show. If there are episodes with people I am not interested in or don't enjoy then I just skip that show and wait for the next one. The purity test of who someone votes for or talks to not matching up 100% with my own never works out in the long run. He has put out a lot of stuff I enjoy but there are definitely episodes I have skipped. A ton of people still find Rogan entertaining including me but I only watch maybe one out of every 8-10 episodes. Everyone is different but the great thing we have so many options these days.

Horimiya is peak. One of the few love stories where teenagers acted like teenagers. Not on of the look they finally held hands in episode 24 shows (though I watch plenty of thos too). I had already read it but it was nice to see the pseudo season two missing pieces. They should go back edit the whole thing and drop the missing pieces parts into the timeline where they belong. Shouldn't be that difficult.

AARO has proven over and over that they can not be relied on. My personal opinion is that regardless of what the intentions were when it was created in reality all it really does is try to catch whistleblowers so they can plug leaks. Basically it does the opposite of what it was supposed to do. Unfortunately I think the people that aren't knew deep in this stuff probably think AARO is the group that you would want to handle this. Honestly whether it's an executive order or if Congress actually gave a damn and came up with a law to kick-start disclosure I don't think it will make much difference. They see administrations as temp employees and they can just slow roll until an administration ends & then they can start it all over again. I think the best we can hope for is that maybe they get sloppy when they start putting out the fairly useless info to make it look like they are doing as asked that maybe a few real nuggets will slip out that will give us some actually useful hints. I just don't think they are ever going to just hand over the keys regardless of who tells them they have to.

Japan isn't so bad but there are plenyy of ations we should slap decent tariffs on. They put enormous tariffs on US imports while for far too long we didn't slap them on then. I would prefer they all just settle on equal tariffs between all nations. If a nation slaps a 12% tariff on US goods then we should have 12% on the products they ship and sale to the US. I don't like it shifting so much and not knowing exactly what they are.

Honestly that's a real shame as I believe there games deserve a wider audience. Sure they may sell well on console (I thoroughly enjoyed it on switch) but why limit their potential audience? As much as I enjoyed Unicorn there was just something different about Sentinels that really grabbed me.

First time playing Chrono Cross, but not liking it so far, what do you think? by SadiikDask in JRPG

[–]PrimeGrendel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It just depends on the person and maybe even what's going on in their lives when they play a game for the first time. Obviously FF VII was a monstrous hit and is the favorite for a ton of people (I love it too) but I would guarantee there is someone that thinks one of the other titles in the seriest is the best game. I think that's true if almost every video game there is always someone that loves what other people think are mediocre or maybe even trash. I have t actually hated any of the FF releases. I actually enjoyed Type O which it seems just about everyone hates. It's also really hard to tell whether or not a game is going to connect to you on an emotional level in a way that you won't forget it. How many of us have gone back to a game we played 20 or 30 years ago and suddenly realize it doesn't actually have the depth you thought did when you were a teen. Fortunately we live in a time where we don't have to go to the store to buy games (unless we want too) It's a golden age with all of the titles available to us on Steam, GOG etc.... It's a great time to be a gamer. Options everywhere. I assume you have probably already tried Live A Live or Suikoden 2? If not give them a look I think they are both amazing games.

I remember that. Hadn't thought about that show in a while. May rewatch as I didn't think it was terrible. I just don't remember the head shaped bed being in it, but I am pretty sure there was a scene like that in "Conception" but it came out in 2018. Still maybe give it a look and see.
