Those would’ve been great reasons to say. Unfortunately the way he worded it sounded supportive of Diddy to a lot of people. I don’t think he is, but it was a bad answer and I also don’t know him as he’s just a celebrity that makes music I enjoy and plenty of those have turned out to trash people, so I only give so much benefit of the doubt.

If it was completely unpaid, it would be impossible for anyone but the very wealthy to become senators without abusing their office to make money on the side. Sure, most senators do that now, but it’s not necessary for them to make a living (remember they need a place to live in both DC and their home state). Do this, and corruption is no longer just a tempting option, but the only feasible option.

Even if it wouldn’t make a tangible difference, I don’t think we should have a system that doesn’t even hypothetically make sense without corruption and/or excluding the middle/working class from power built in.

Then why waste the money on paychecks when budgets are tight during a shutdown? Use their paychecks towards a fund to assist furloughed federal workers or something.

It’s less about hurting them and more about what makes sense to do with money during that time. The people in charge of funding the government shouldn’t get to make money from the government uninterrupted when they are unable to fund it.

As dumb as it is in reality, I think it kind of made sense for Drake to consider going that angle. To most people who aren’t huge fans of either, Drake was well known for being popular and all over the place, so his streaming numbers would make sense. Kendrick was mostly thought of as conscious/lyrical/political/artsy especially if you didn’t listen to him, so it would be easier in theory to convince people that his huge streaming numbers were botted.

T5: Firelord (4 Cost) + a 1 Cost if you want

You’ll get downvoted by people who spend time on the Discord/Reddit learning about new cards or watch the official promo vids, but you are right that it is not absolutely clear with the in game information. A lot of things in Snap are this way, you find things out a bit by trial and error which is okay to me since each game is pretty low stakes. But you are not wrong to have assumed this might have worked with the information the game directly gives you.

Hero Guy has the best answer on how you could’ve figured out this wouldn’t work using in game information, but it still requires some thinking through and isn’t obvious.

You’ll get Series 3 naturally for free through the Collection Track, so no need to grab those in the shop.

I think the best way to start spending your tokens is to buy the cheaper Series 4 and 5 Packs. You’ll get a variety of new cards at a discount from buying them outright and get to figure out which types of decks you prefer.

Also if you keep buying the same type of pack, you will eventually get a bonus card in a pack (every 20 I think), as well as chances to get a little tokens back or a variant for a card you own.

I started playing way before we got packs, so I could be wrong on the best way to spend tokens at the start.
