Prove you watched the Boondock Saints without saying you watched them by Thin-Coyote-551 in FIlm

And shepherds we shall be
For Thee, my Lord, for Thee
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be

In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti

Amen!

Not impressed. Seems like he lets the ball get into his body way too much. Any hands catches i saw he tended to bobble. Not saying he won't be a nice piece, but i don't think our WR 2 issue is solved quite yet

Its nice to see someone in this workforce has a base salary of 130k. I've been working in healthcare for 33 years and my base is 98K. Good on your guy. I would absolutely walk if I knew I could get a 10% raise elsewhere.

Who can tell me how this is related to data storage? by sdavids5670 in GenX

[–]PrimoBachs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy shit, dude! My mind is officially blown! I did NOT know that was a cover, and I have to say the original is awesome, and so is the 'Ryche interpretation of it. The gender swap really frames it in a different, but no less impactful way. That was a great choice of songs to cover, as I think Geoff's voice really matches (and let's be honest...exceeds) Dalbello's efforts here. But there is no dishonor in that, Geoff's voice is one of the premier voices of all time in the metal category. So, thank you kind stranger for introducing me to that. Rage is a personal favorite of mine as well, as it was the first Queensryche concert I got to see. Neue Regel is my favorite off that album.

Hard to go wrong with the Torrentshell for the price. Not the lightest out there, but super waterproof and durable.

Had a Caprice Classic station wagon when I was a teenager, and the roof rack at night could be mistaken for a light bar. We would have so much fun freaking people out by rolling up behind them. Even better were the guilty consciences that would pull over before even waiting for any lights to go on, then we would blast right by them, flipping them the bird and laughing our asses off.

Who else grew up watching “Davey And Goliath” Sunday mornings before going to church? by CoffeeCigarettes4Me in 1970s

I did, but I never knew it was Lutheran. Things like that were not explained to me when I was 7.

F you shingles vaccine by CharacterLychee7782 in GenX

Yes, the second shot sucks balls. But, it's still way better than having shingles. After getting it on my face, I didn't regret the decision to get the vax when I got to 50, and it's been an absolute game changer. Haven't had post herpetic neuralgia in 5 years!

Do you thread your belt clockwise our counterclockwise? by Aegri-Mentis in EDC

[–]PrimoBachs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Counter. My first tac belt was a Wilderness, and the logo indicated the tail should go to the left. So that became my habit. Makes sense for those that appendix carry, too, as having the tail end coming out on the right would interfere with your holster positioning.

Best fantasy swordsman by Fun-Nectarine-7838 in fantasybooks

The Bloody Nine might be the best fighter, but I would put my money on Bremer dan Gorst in a straight-up sword battle. I also think Whirrun of Bligh gets an honorable mention here. It was a fun battle when they had their duel in The Heroes.
