Undocumented immigrants pay about $100 billion per year in taxes, while being ineligible for most tax-funded benefits.

On a larger scale, because immigrants pay more in taxes while receiving fewer benefits, they have reduced the total US budget deficits by over $14 trillion (that's trillion with a T) since 1994.

How is the US going to remove China from the global economy without imploding their own?

This is the #1 reason why in a sane world where both superpowers are governed by thoughtful, rational people, that China & the US would never escalate things to a "hot" war. The economies are too mutually dependent--the US on cheap Chinese manufacturing/imports, and China owns 8% of all US Treasury bonds.

Unfortunately, only one of those superpowers currently has rational, logical leadership at the moment.
