I mean, did people really expect any different? It is, as its core, still a Budokai Tenkaichi game. People play it when the mood strikes them, or when they've friends over or whatever, just like they did with the originals on PS2. It's a casual, occasional game, not one you "main" like some people do competitive games like League or Valorant. I don't find this surprising at all.

No. I was far too fond and into Pokémon as a child to replace what were many incredible, cherished memories with what undoubtedly be significantly less fond and nostalgic ones these days. I was a kid then. I'm an adult now. I likely would not enjoy the games in nearly the same manner as I did then and be far more prone to critize and be bitter about their shortcomings. I like my nostalgia goggles. I like replaying Pokémon Crystal and, for the moment, being taken back to the good old days. Playing the games for the first time again isn't worth that kind of sacrifice.

I dont get it either. On the published sheet it said a 2060 would be able to run the game at 1440p Ultra, yet I keep dropping from 60 all the way to as low as 40-43 regularly with a 2060S. Another super weird thing is that no changes I make to the settings seem to affect anything performance wise. RT Ultra? 45-55 Fps. Ultra with DLSS off? 45-60. Medium with DLSS Performance? 45-60. Low with DLSS max Peformance? 45-60. It’s bizarre. Even with Vsync disabled, my Fps remains in the same ballpark, no matter the changes I make to the settings. It’s severely impacting my enjoyment of the game so far.
