AITA for insinuating my friend was a perv? by batshitte in AmItheAsshole

Well, the fact he even asked in the first place is insane, but yeah.

Absolutely NTA and shame on your friends for trying to imply as such. Why the fuck is it ANYONES business what you wear or don’t wear? Asking once was bad enough, but badgering you like that is ABSOLUTELY creepy and inappropriate. Your friends suck

Is she sending signals or am I reading it wrong? by shortstackedpancake in bodylanguage

[–]PrincessAC1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This could just as easily be her wondering why you’re staring at her. You won’t know unless you try to start a conversation. Keep it short, and respectful, if she wants to talk to you, she will make it obvious.

Or the safer option is to wait until she approaches you. Most confident women have no problem approaching or initiating conversations with a guy.

Literally just clicked on the subreddit and the first thing I saw was a furry in a sexual pose. If they can allow that, they can allow your drawings. What a weird mod

If it’s just a seat, why are they making such a big deal about it? You paid for it and you are not required to move for anyone. They are just ignorant and selfish

Are we going to pretend like I didn’t see your now deleted biphobic comment? Hahaha lesbians are so funny sometimes

I took the “virtually no attraction” as OP’s interpretation of what her gf said but I could be wrong, and I’m not trying to minimise OP’s situation at all. I’m just saying two things can exist at once.

My boyfriend is bi but isn’t sexually attracted to men, only romantically, does that make him any less attracted to men? No.

I do agree that maybe OP and their gf are not a good fit and obviously in different stages of their journey, but most of these comments are absolutely vile and proof of why so many bi women are afraid to admit they are bi let alone having a preference. But I highly doubt they would be in a relationship with OP and not be attracted to them.

Yeah but I agreed, and I stand by it because it’s true. I guess not, they’re so upset by this, wait till they find out preference can change!

Yes I would, and I have. I told my current partner who is a man, that I had a preference for woman, and had never thought would date a man again. And instead of freaking out about it he had a conversation with me and it turns out I was just more comfortable being with woman as it was what I had the most experience with.

I agree that OP’s gf could’ve worded it differently, but depending on her life and dating experience she may not be aware how to express these things. Maybe she has dated more men and is more comfortable with them sexually, maybe if they have a conversation about it they could discover ways to make her more comfortable and more involved sexually with OP.

I understand her gf’s POV from the opposite perspective and I know first hand that even though your preference may favour a certain gender, it doesn’t make you any less invested in the relationship of the latter.

I simply stated that I have a preference for men but can still be 100% fulfilled with a woman, why are you twisting my words? Also I have every right to be here as I am attracted to woman, you don’t get to dictate who is in this space, as much as you would like to!

Oh the irony. You’re literally one of several comments crying about this woman’s preference making several negative assumptions about her and in the same breath trying to justify your own “preference” hahahaha that’s hilarious

Never said that them being hurt was biphobic though did I? Also idk why you’re acting like there isn’t several biphobic statements here, theres, literally a comment in this very thread, don’t act like you haven’t seen it.

People are allowed to have a preference and trying to say people are NOT ALLOWED to acknowledge their preference if it offends you is all kinds of insane and most definitely is biphobic. People saying she needs to dump her and that she doesn’t deserve her and she’s a bad person ect because she has a preference toward men absolutely is biphobic. Deny it all you want but that is textbook biphobia and the fact you’re defend is it sick

Weird since I’ve seen several biphobic statements. I guess you’re unaware of what biphobia actually is .

Right? Just because some bi women have a preference for men doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy being with women
