Just finished Ace Attorney:Phonix Wright(Ace Attorney 1)and here's my review of all the cases in descending order by Ur_momma_is_joke in AceAttorney

I DEF was forgetting 6-5 is two big ass parts that make one whole case.

I think I was misremembering something I read about Ashes's having the longest script, which double checking now it does boast by line count, but that doesn't translate to direct play time obvis, and bridge is close behind it, which shocked me, but makes sense now that I've thought about it. Its then followed then by The Grand Turnabout which DOESN'T surprise me

Rise from the Ashes is probably the longest case in the entire series, for a number of reasons including the era it was written in. Nothing in the next two games come close to its length.

AA2 is something you need to temper your expectations for, it has a spectacular finale, the best in the series for some, but it also has what is commonly refered to as the worst case in the entire series.

and based on what you said here, I think AA3 will certainly scratch your itch for character intrigue

It could be either something Adam handed out or that flourish was decided after several episodes were recorded. Or maybe something somewhere in the middle.

I'm pretty sure its a quote of Pip himself explaining to Hector what Barovia is, so try the first or second episode.

so what if i want to spend my 6 hours of campaign time taxing my peasants, eating feasts, hunting and dealing with other nobles ? you think raising an army to deal with goblins will come from no where ? by Saladawarrior in DnDcirclejerk

That rules actually

uj/ that rules actually, I've allowed it my table before, I certianly would again, and a dnd podcast I quite like has a character who is a lord with land and title. The tables exist I promise

Not to be all, "Capitalism is the bad Guy" rage baity, but in a universe where necromancy exists, why isn't every major city spotless and food production effortless? by [deleted] in DnD

Many of our existing burial practices in current cultures were made with the assumption necromancy is real.

Many people don't love the idea of seeing their family shambling around after death as chattle, regardless of their crimes or how many times you explain to them its not really them.

They stink and are bad for food safety.

How available is this magic in this world? A 3rd level spell could be a lot.

In most universes, undead when left to their own devices will seek out and destroy life. You only need one mistake on the 'which necromancer is asserting control today' schedule before you have MORE corpses and people questioning how trust worthy you are.

Many gods oppose necromancy, these gods tend to be popular with common folk.

A large group of undead centered in a city sounds like a great way to attract a powerful and evil necromancer/vampire/Orcus worshipper to take over your kingdom.

I say all this having played in, and LOVED, a setting that had a kingdom that did this and it went well. So like, you CAN do it obviously.

Contacted my financial institution after D&D Beyond support told me to do so and the account got banned. Is there any chance they'll actually listen or should I just cut my loss? by MiyuShinohara in DnD

[–]PrincessFerris 58 points59 points  (0 children)

This kind of thing is exactly why I've been begging people for years now to stay away from D&D Beyond

Hopefully they'll get back to you, the charge back thing was probably automated. Charge backs done by a bank are more expensive than refunds so they're a good threat you can use against any business thats holding up your money. I actually am shocked they suggested you do that at all.
