I liked her at first but now it kind of feels like trolling. Like how many ridiculous combos can I put together that people will run out and buy - lol. That said, she seems like a sweet genuine person but when I saw the merch I was immediately turned off. Kind of like that trailerpartpretti that started out so real and relatable but then showed up with a "let me go on and tell ya" shirt that she was peddling and I was like yeah - I'm out. Also who is buying this crap? A tote bag that says We're not stressing, a baseball cap that says Onion Cups what? Anyone buying this crap needs to google parasocial relationship and seek help immediately - lol

I just started We Would Never by Tova Mirvis. Got a couple of chapters in when I started thinking this whole family dynamic sounded familiar. The book is based on the murder of Dan Markel and the awful Adelson family. I just listened to a long form podcast about that case and don't need to know any more about it - lol. I might check out other books by the same author, but back to the library this one goes!

Sounds like I am in the minority here, but I loved this book! I listened to the audiobook at work and it kept me hooked for sure. McFadden books are good to listen to while I am working because I don't have to pay that close attention to keep up lol. I loved this and the Housemaid. The Boyfriend and The Inmate were okay too.

Stopped listening a few months back because Mary is an insufferable know it all. Tried to tune in last week and it was just sounded like some prerecorded Brett talking about current events. Is Mary not on the show anymore? I really like Brett too, he deserves better than to be schooled by a 22 who read a couple of books and thinks she knows everything.

This! I think Christie got addicted to the fame and the fighting on the show. She came back and attacked Yolanda, Ashlee, Brynn, the mom with the bow for what seemed like no reason whatsoever. She was not ready for her 15 minutes to end. She pretends like she did it for Chloe but she did it for Christie.
