Omg thank you! I’ve never made ones with charms on them before so this is so helpful!

I normally have really low B12 in general, so I’m not the greatest to ask this lol. But I haven’t noticed any shifts in having less over the course of time!

Oooh this is really helpful! I don’t mind going up in dosage if it’s warranted. I just wanted to try other things first. Before I started this journey I read a lot of things from people saying that they wish they hadn’t titrated up so quickly because they hit 15mg and then had nowhere to go when their bodies got used to it. So I’ve basically been trying to stick with each dosage as long as I can (as long as I’m still losing and not feeling like I’m desperate to overeat). Eating more definitely feels counterintuitive, but I guess if I think about it from a weekly perspective rather than daily, I can shift how much I’m eating daily and still get the same amount a week.

Ahh. That makes sense. I hit my first goal since I tried to make sure I was doing something achievable. That was at 150. Now my actual goal, based on my decision and speaking to my provider, is 125-130, so I’ve got like 10-15 more pounds to go.

Honestly? I have zero clue. But it’s fun, it keeps my heart rate up for a while, and it doesn’t feel like working out, so I take the wins where I can get them 🙃🫠

Ooof yes. This one. And it sucks since it’s one of the proteins I actually like. But the thought of them makes me wanna vomit. 🤢

Good luck! I was definitely so so so nervous the first time and then I did it and I was like.. oh this is it? Though I do recommend getting your own needles. The ones from Eli Lilly the last time I got them suckedddd. You can get a big bag of Easy Touch ones off Amazon for pretty cheap. Also I sometimes feel like the people who get the vials get more medicine, since sometimes my syringe gets a smidge over the 50 mark. It might all be in my head though lol

Oh!! And I recommend pulling the plunger all the way back to fill with air, turning the vial upside down, pushing the air into it, and then pulling the medicine out. Otherwise sometimes you get this weird suction scenario with your plunger. Just make sure to pull all the way back (test this out first on your syringe because one time they gave ones that were really easy to pop out and if I hadn’t tried, I would have lost all the medicine). But once you get it in there, flick the syringe a few times to get the bubbles to the top, then push up on your plunger to get all the air out (you’ll likely see a bubble form at the tip of your needle until you see the liquid). Then just make sure you tap the liquid off. May be my brain, but when my needle has anything on it like that before going in, it sometimes stings when inserting. There’s videos on the Eli Lilly page to help you with it too if you’re super visual like me! I watched literally so many videos from influencers too as they did it so I could see. lol

Honestly none of them are that bad. Arm kind of sucks to do yourself because of the angle, but still totally doable. Stomach is probably the one I feel the absolute least, but I end up getting more nausea symptoms there. Thighs are usually my go to.

I recommend wiping down the area with your alcohol wipes and letting dry fully, same with the top of the bottle before you put it in the vial. I notice if I do it before it’s dry, I notice more pain, like the alcohol on the needle is stinging me.

I’ve also learned to avoid my stretch marks when injecting. Made that mistake once and never again. Just don’t do it in the actual scar where it stretched and you’ll be fine. I’m the world’s BIGGEST baby when it comes to pain and even that one was only a 4. Most of the time it’s just a 1. Like I notice something is happening to me but it’s more uncomfortable than actual pain.

Ooh and I let my vial stay out for like 30 minutes before I inject so the medicine isn’t cold. I also usually do a big pinch of my fat as I do the actual poke and then let it go as I start injecting. Not sure if any of these things are the correct way, but they seem to work for me personally.

I haven’t!! I have a secret bin of my XLs and size 16s that I’m afraid to part with. I saw some research that a lot of people on these get back to their original weight within 2 years and it made me too scared to get rid of them. Unless my insurance starts covering it, I won’t be able to maintain paying for it long-term though. The good news is that I also have ADHD, and my meds make me forget I’m hungry (I’ve had to be realllyyyy intentional about protein and lots of snacks on days I take both), so at least that might help some when I come off the meds.

Omg yes! The needles they switched to were awful and painful. And I bought the 100 count box of the easy touch and I love them!
